The Blue Ice staff is friendly and has been especially good while dealing with taking orders and then scooping from the back cooler due to the display case being under repair. The shop has over 20 flavors to choose from, with some non-dairy and many gluten-free options. I usually get a small cup with chocolate and honey lavender cinnamon (yes, up to 2 flavors per small). My partner really likes the waffle cone with butter pecan. The flavors always are fresh and the texture creamy. We enjoy sitting out on the patio and, sometimes we are serenaded by musicians on the patio next door. We recommend the gelato and the patio seating!

The website and notice on the door say they are open till 10 pm. But they refused to serve is when we reached at 9:55. Please change your hours too 9:30 or whenever you really close so you dont mislead people

I was excited to try this place and left disappointed. The gelato cooler is broken right now so you can’t see any of the flavors when ordering. They only had a few kinds left to choose from and were out of the best flavors. My husband got stracciatella, but it wasn’t anything like they have in Europe with the tiny chocolate shavings so he was bummed. The salted caramel and cookies and cream flavors I didn’t care for at all. I got peanut butter and it was really good and smooth and creamy, but since they were out of chocolate it was just kind of sad. I hope they can get this place in order because I feel like maybe it was just a fluke that it was so bad this time?

I love their gelato!! I only found this place when visiting a gallery nearby. Their gelato is also sold at Ren Coffee. So many flavors too. Really friendly staff. A bit more decor would make the shop even better.

This gelato shop is the real deal. I think probably one of the best real gelato shops in town. Their flavor selection is also meant makes them great. They've got the classics as well as unique flavor combinations and specials. You can also purchase gelato in a takeout size to store in your freezer. I love having that option! I love a classic gelato. The stracciatella is my favorite.

Good spot for dessert on the northeast side of town! A bit on the pricey side for the serving size, but the gelato is homemade and decent. Flavors rotate, but they consistently have a vegan option - coconut sweet potato which is probably my favorite thing to order because it's so unique and I love that there is a non-dairy option even though I'm not vegan. Their cookies and cream and cookie butter flavors are pretty good too.
Nice little gelato shop. Seems family owned. Great assortment of flavors. Have been here twice. First time freezers were down so gelato was a bit soft however the staff was so nice ! Second time I was like definitely better than frost all around. Love to support small businesses.

I cannot describe the elegance of what goes on over there but it's undeniably the pinnacle of your day no matter what is going on. There is a reason that the place has a reputation for producing edible gold and anyone who thinks otherwise is an absolute charlatan. An imposter with questionable motives who needs to be studied and questioned. this place will change your life fr, it's not like anything else you've tried. get the cookie butter and thank me later

Wonderful treat post Sabino Canyon hike. Vegan coconut sweet potato was amazing- and I'm not even a vegan. My companion gave an equally rave review for the mint grapefruit sorbet.
