best food around uofa by far. as a poor wasian far from home, this is where i go whenever i miss home. people complaining need to realize that you dont go here for the restaurant service lmao. the family that works here are so nice and sweet. theyre very generous with their portions and its always delicious. whenever i do dine in, the ladies that work the front are always sweet to me. theres a reason why this place is so popular among the asians here in tucson. Triangle Brown Sugar Bun - Okay. Definitely more go a desert item but wayyy too intensely sugary for me. Maybe would've been better if I'd eaten it fresh instead of as take out Kung Pao Chicken Rice - Fab. I wish they had a smaller serving option for less money but good for leftovers. $11 for that much food is a pretty killah deal Fried Scallion Cake - Super yummy! Maybe a little too oily and for that reason I probably wouldn't order again but very flavorful. Tea-stewed Egg - I'll definitely be ordering that again. It's so flavorful that I would only want one per serving. .80¢ well spent imo

Worst Chinese food, dumpling and buns I've ever had. Please don't waste your money or your appetite
Decent Chinese food with a much different scope than most places. There's aren't really a lot of American faves. Nothing fried and nothing sugary on the menu, but rather a lot of traditional noodles and an extensive selection of soup dumplings. The restaurant felt very bare bones in terms of atmosphere. Like neither the inside nor outside has had significant aesthetic changes since the 20th century. I find that to be an encouraging sign! Here's what I had: Kung Pao Chicken--Good flavor, and I liked how the chicken and celery were finely diced. Very generous portion--I only finished half. It just didn't really taste fresh. Like they had chicken prepped from earlier in the day and just reheated it. Pork Belly--seems to be the most popular dish on the menu, and I see why! Quite savory, and made even better with a tiny splash of chili oil. I would get this again for sure. And again, portion was definitely enough for two. Everything's served in a styrofoam box, and the kind old folks running this place sure can cook really fast. I would come back to try the dumplings and other items you don't see every day.

I pulled into their parking lot. I was one the phone so I walked around to finish my call and wait for my business partner. We were going to get lunch before our meeting next door. After the way I was treated and the way they acted we decided to go else where. Some lady comes running out pointing at me yelling about me parking there. If you want to be miss treated and yelled at you might go here other wise stay far away

The best meal I've had in a long time. We got the beef and potato curry, steamed buns, and pork bun appetizer. Warm and nourishing, perfect for cold weather.Watch out because those pork bun appetizers are bigger than you'd think! They'd make a fine lunch by themselves. We filled up quick and now we have plenty of leftovers. Our server was attentive and friendly. Amazing value for your money. 10/10 recommend.
