Dusty Monk Pub

I meet friends in this lovely spot often! This is my favorite place to eat. I go there frequently. The meals are excellent, the crew is helpful and the charge is fair. I enjoy eating in this restaurant for a good meal.

The Dusty Monk is a cozy spot with a dive-bar feel in the historic Presidio area. It's part of the La Cocina restaurant and courtyard, and you can order from the full menu in here. Sit at the bar, at low-top tables, or on the patio -- there are plenty of seating options for it being a small place. I reached out to La Cocina to see about hosting an event here for about 40 people. While so many places in town were super strict about meeting quotas and fees upon fees, La Cocina worked so well with my group. Very fair prices and their food was good. They kept on changing out food and provided us with chips, salsa, hummus plate with veggies and pita, quesadillas (both plain and chicken) and finished off with a nice platter).
