Food was amazing! It's actually handmade, not from a can or jar and it's absolutely delicious! Kind people, great service and a sweet origin story!

Had our first Mexican meal here at the start of a Southwest road trip and the food and atmosphere did not disappoint. What a fantastic, family-owned spot!

The food was ok but not a big deal. Just a little below average Mexican food. They make it sound like it is the very best in Tucson. The only thing that makes this place good is the outside patio setting. That's all they got.Parking: You have to go to the alley to get to the parking lot. Had to walk all the way to the front because the back gate to the restaurant could not open. The parking lot was so full, we had to park on the side in the alley. When we got inside, there was only one customer inside and 3 in the patio. Why was the parking lot so full that we could not find parking in the restaurant parking lot? There should have been only five cars in the parking lot to include mine but there were about 20 cars and I had to park in the alley road.

One of our favorite places. Family-run, daily specials, large patio eating area. The move from 4th Ave to Stone gave them more parking and outdoor space.Vegetarian options: Members of the family are vegetarian, so they are careful when marking items vegetarian that there is no meat products.

Quaint little restaurant with great service. We loved the food, I think our only complaint is that we wished there was more. Green chicken enchiladas were fantastic, tamales were very moist. Very happy with it, I think next time we'd just order more food.

Fantastic food and ambience! I have been eating here for many years and it is my favorite Mexican food restaurant in town! Try the nopalitos (Yes, that's cactus) and the mole because there are not a ton of great places to have decent mole around here. The Indita name and vibe come from strong indigenous influences on the recipes, food and space... Just read the back of the menu and learn the cool story! Hands down the best vegetarian options for this type of food in Tucson. Be aware that this is not a place for a speedy meal, especially at dinner time. But just get a margarita or a caguama of beer and relax and enjoy the amazing chips and salsa! Your food will be here soon enough!

I lived in Tucson from 2004-2006 as a 24 yr old and use to come to La Indita and order the carne asada and get drunk and contemplate life. Starting off with the spiciest salsa in Tucson and fresh tortilla chips transitioning to a generous tender piece of asada and tortillas. I never figured out life but I was assured this was my favorite place in Tucson. Fast forward to 2024 and I'm here for work, have I figured out life, HELL NO!!! But La Indita is still the same, quality service, quality food, ordered the carne asada and the tamale and it was same deliciousness. As I sat at the same table by the window I realized I entered the same portal for vision questing life in the desert! It is a must if you are visiting Tucson!!!
