My family has been customers for years and always enjoyed Mamas until recently. I ordered a pizza and requested extra sauce, the pizza we received had NO sauce on it. I called and asked to speak to the manager and when she got on the phone she was extremely rude and said “if you want extra sauce then you need to pay for it.” I replied I was fine with that but there was not an option for extra sauce. She responded with “Buy a side of marinara” I explained we wanted it cooked in the pizza not on the side. Silence. Another time we ordered breaded zucchini, the breading batter was basically raw not fried nearly enough. I called to let the manager know and she said,” We are getting our zucchini from someone else now so that’s how it is supposed to be there’s nothing wrong with your zucchini.” I knew that could not be the case, no way. I’ve ordered since and the zucchini was cooked fine. Today, I ordered zucchini and got fried ravioli. I called and she said “Oh yeah you can come get the zucchini” No apology, just yeah you were supposed to get zucchini. These are just a few examples of the more recent incidents. The food is usually good, the service is my issue. We are done with Mamas on Houghton, I would take my business elsewhere.

Great pizza. Awesome meatball parmisan! Huge pizza slices. Great NY style pizza. Im picky too! Why anyone would give this place less than 3 stars is ridiculous. They probably love McDonald's. I don't work here or know anyone who does btw.Support local!!

Meh. Went there for lunch, they weren't busy. I had the hot wings ($16 for 7 wings, seriously?). And we ordered three different pizzas. My wings came out in 10 minutes, one on the pizzas came out 5 minutes later. The next one came out 15 minutes later, and the last 10 minutes after that. One of the pizzas was seriously undercooked. The wings were mediocre (esp at the price). We won't be back.

The pizza was excellent and one of the sandwiches was on point. Didn't care for the mozzarella sticks at all or the meatball sub. We got it to go, but it looked really nice on the inside, and the customer service was nice and friendly.

Pizza was delicious, thin and crispy crust, cheese melted perfectly.
Messed up my order. Said they didn’t, then offered me 1$ refund and then the guy on the phone passed me off to someone else to deal with the issue. Tipped $5 and they said they couldn’t refund my tip after messing up the order ? here’s the photo of the pizza without ricotta for the person who “definitely added it”.
