My wife LOVED her sandwich. She normally doesn't say much about enjoying food, but after getting sandwiches to go, she said several time how she liked her sandwich. She had the BLT, but with no avocado, although it was on the sandwich. I got it from her to join my Curry Turkey Wrap! Yummy!

Food is always great but today at lunch my mother ordered a salad to go (which comes in a plastic container provided by Pie Bird). When she got there she decided to sit down and eat since it was pretty cold and windy out today instead of going back to her office. As she was eating some sort of manager or team lead came up to her and asked her if she wanted a plate for her salad and she told him that she was fine with the plastic in case she didn't finish it. He then told her that Pie Bird does not promote plastic waste and told her that she cant eat her salad in the store. They provided the plastic and the salad cost $15. This was THE most blatant disregard for customer service I have ever seen and that manager should be ashamed of themselves. I will not go back to Pie Bird because of this.

I work downtown, and have been going to this cafe for years. It is convenient for lunch with friends, who work in other parts of downtown. Prior to just a couple of months ago, I always loved going there. The food was excellent and the service was always cheerful and pleasant. However, I think the place got sold, because the new owner Will, is as unpleasant and surly an example of a person as you could come across. He absolutely never seems to smile or be friendly. Ok, not everyone has to be perpetually sunny, but given that most of his customers that are repeats who work downtown, it wouldn't kill. But even worse than that, he has started nickle and diming his customers to death. It started with "you can order an Arnold Palmer, but we will only refill your tea, not the lemonade." If your lemonade is that pricey, just charge a little more for an Arnold Palmer and then refill your customers glass, rather than being rude about it. Then it was "we are charging more for extra salad dressing." But the final straw came last week, when I joined a friend there for lunch, as is my wont about once a week. When I asked to have my tea refilled (no lemonade, cause they don't do that), I asked for a couple of lemon wedges. Their tea is very strong, and the lemon helps cut that. Will refilled my glass, and plopped one lemon wedge in my glass. When I said "may I please have another wedge of lemon", he, in a very surly voice, replied "we only allow one slice of lemon." SERIOUSLY!!! An average lemon, which will cut into 8 wedges, is about $0.70 at Albertsons, and I'm sure it is cheaper than that from either Costco or a fruit wholesaler. That is $0.09 a wedge. If you cannot incorporate that $0.09 into your costs, you are in the wrong business. Long story short, this business how now lost my business, a weekly customer who spent on average $18 (including tip) over a slice of lemon. I hope it was worth it.

I live right around the corner and Pie Bird Bakery is in my favorite building in the downtown area . I call it the "Get Smart " building . I must say that the food is always good to great. The clients are people that make money so 4.95 for a really great pie is so worth what they are serving. 5 Points would be wise to take note from this Cafe. With that said the counter people have no personality or a non personality. Trust me I love the pie. Money is my mistress so ok I'll take 3 but then I have to exchange with someone that makes me feel like I don't belong. I'm not shy and I love to eat. It's really a shame cause such great food.

Decent price, a little on the high side but not too bad. The food was amazing and I would absolutely reccomend if you have some cash to spare.

This place is seriously amazing. I've been there for breakfast and lunch probably a dozen times so far and I've never been disappointed. You can't go wrong with their breakfast, no matter what you order. I've had their breakfast sandwich, the bagel sandwich, and the breakfast burrito and they're all amazing. And I LOVE that you can substitute roasted veggies into anything instead of getting meat. The sandwiches at lunch are delicious and they have the best ranch dressing in town for the side salads. Highly recommend!

Delicious cherry pie and coffee. Pie for breakfast was just what I needed before heading to the court down the street. Interior is beautiful and service was great.
