My husband and I have had Geico for over 15 years and never incurred a problem until recently when I called to get a quote on a vehicle I was possibly going to purchase, I wanted to put it on a separate policy than the one we already had for our 3 vehicles and I specifically told the person not to remove my every day driving vehicle from our policy. Well I didn't end up purchasing the extra vehicle and then 2 weeks later I called Geico to find out how much a policy would be to move my existing vehicle on it's own and this person tells me that I wasn't even on the policy!!!! WTH!??!! After numerous phone calls from my husband and myself talking with "supervisors" too they refused to place me back on the policy without me showing proof that I reside with my husband in our home! I have NEVER experienced something so ridiculous as this so I ended up purchasing a policy from a different company because I was not going to give them any of my business and told my husband to remove my vehicle from what WAS OUR policy. We are definitely filing a formal complaint against this company for this horrendous situation. DO NOT USE GEICO. They put a lot of lies about our marriage and living together into their database to claim that we were not together!!!! They deserve to be sued for this absurd behavior and don't even deserve one star for this review.

I recently called Geico's customer service and innocently asked for information about my coverage and they logged the call as a claim against my policy. They then significantly raised my rates, and assigned a black mark to my completely clean driving record with no tickets, accidents, or claims in decades. This now prevents me from going to other companies for competitive rates for seven years. Their underwriters admitted that this is their policy and there's nothing you can do about it. You can call them for any reason, and they can declare that you have made a claim! The only way to stop this unscrupulous practice is to steer clear of any business with Geico or, trust me, you could easily become their next victim.

They have been charging me for auto insurance on a car that I dont even own and just wanted a quote on.. they've charged my card without my concent for 3 months now which adds up to about $1800. And now they want me to bring them a letter from the dealership that the car was never purchased in order for them to refund me my money back. They are thieves. Take your business else where. Dont risk them funneling 1.8k or more out of your bank account.

Well Shame on Geico!!This company can kiss my Arse.Their insured hit my truck while it was parked in a parking lot.The insured took full responsibility and was found at fault.Geico required me to drive to a collision center for an estimate in which this place was 25 minutes away.Not sure why they didn't let me go to one closer or better yet send their adjuster to me.This was the first inconvenience of many.Next the Collision center Low balled the estimate and told me they don't replace my bumper with Original Equipment only the cheaper aftermarket bumper.I told them to stuff their aftermarket Chinese crap up their Arse!!This company is what's wrong with Corporate America,Too big for their britches and Zero customer service.These crooks need put out of business as they are out to screw the consumer.

I'm a 27 year customer of GEICO. Lexus was struck by lightning July 8. On July 20 it was finally declared totaled yet here i am 5 weeks no payment and no car. Any number of times I've been told the direct deposit has been submitted yet still no money. This is no small sum, a few dollars short of $20,000. Every time I call I'm told give it another day. I AM OVER THIS. You've got my car, my title and my money. I guarantee if my premium payment waa one day late I would be dropped and fined by my state. Yet i have ZERO recourse!!

Got a quote online for 527.88 for 6 months. But when I called, it turned into 1,100 for 6 months. They were using my sister's and mother's accidents to justify jacking up my rate even though I didn't put them on my policy. Reporting them to the BBB and Arizona Department of Insurance.

Geico does not have a great way to get new costumers. A driver insured by them hit me and the driver claimed to be at fault. I put in the claim through Geico and it took them four days to reach back to me for my statement. Then I had to play phone tag with the adjustor, who was unprofessional and rude. She never called me back and when I finally called and got a hold of her, she told me she was busy. This was all happening when I had a car that I could drive in because of the accident. It took her 6 days to reach the person who hit me. Then they finally took liability for the accident (who wold have thought) which then gave me a rental car. They only work with one rental car place, Enterprise. I called enterprise to get a car for work (I have been without a car for a week now) and enterprise said that they were all out of cars and would not be able to get me one for 8 days. I called back to Geico...no answer from the adjustor and no answer from her supervisor. Worse Insurance agency around. I am glad I have StateFarm.

GEICO engages in unethical practices that will not win them new customers. A driver insured by them hit me while making a left turn on a green light and failing to yield to oncoming traffic. They claim I was 20% at fault for failing to anticipate that she would hit me. I will never buy insurance from GEICO. I will tell all my friends how underhanded they are. If their driver is at fault, they should do the right thing and pay for all damages. This is a good way to lose potential clients of their business.

I was hit in a parking lot by a Asian woman with months of driving experience. My adjuster Renee Richards assured me she is a EXPERT and can tell how accidents happen by looking at pictures. The picture I sent her she had listed as taken the next day... it was taken the NIGHT of the accident. She said its my fault... I have damage on the SIDE of my car..I can't drive sideways!! She relayed over and over that her decision is FINAL is there anything else? So I filed a claim on the lady that hit me and they admit its their insureds fault! My OWN insurance company threw me under the bus. Renee NEVER gave me the respect of viewing my car... but gave that respect to the lady that hit me!! Now Geico is backpedaling... they don't know what to do!! But I will tell you that I will take them to court if ANYTHING was paid out on this claim... after numerous emails they will not even answer me! Folks PLEASE go with anybody but GEICO!! They are THEE worst Ive ever dealt with. The lady who hit me had a GREAT professional insurance company. STAY AWAY FROM GEICO!!! All you get are commercials for you money!
