I ordered Chicken Shawarma and was pleasantly surprised. It was a 10/10 on taste and I'm able to 100% recommend it and this restaurant. The Hummus side was also beyond excellent. Unfortunately it didn't come with pita chips or anything to dip in it so I ate it with some chips at home. I can't speak much to the service or environment since this was a to go order but everything looked very cozy and "hole in the wall" in a good way. I did think it was odd that my takeout order had the chicken separate from the pita so I had to assemble it at home. I think they should consider assembling it then wrapping the whole thing in foil.

My friend invited me to have dinner with her at Shish Kebab House. I had been by this location a couple of times but never gone in to try it.Inside, the decor is solidly Mideast. I thought it was very small, but it opens up in back (so it's cozy back there). We ordered hummus and pita to start, then bot had shawarma (she had chicken, me lamb). The hummus was excellent - fresh, garlic-y, and didn't have all that oil that sometimes gets served with this simple dish. I would order their hummus over store hummus any day!We were both happy with our shawarma plates. They come with house salad and babaganoush. It was all very good and tastes fresh.Shish Kebab House is a very low key eatery. But, if you're craving Mideast food (and who doesn't like once a week, am I right!), Shish Kebab House does the job well.Vegetarian options: The great thing about Mideast food are all the awesome veggies dishes!Parking: Located in a large strip center complex, so lots of parking all around.Kid-friendliness: Widely spaced tables so kids won't upset other diners as easilyWheelchair accessibility: Very open restaurant

I was hesitant to go here, but glad that I did today. For middle-eastern food this is a very good place to go. The prices are good and the food is better than many other places here in Tucson.

Small restaurant in a nondescript strip mall but delicious food. Huge portions. Recommended.

The most impressive thing about this place is their menu. Wow. They offer home-cooked favorites like Palestinian Mechluba, and Mansef. I was so impressed. I ordered the falafel plate, and it was good. I will go back to order other items. The owner was engaging and chatted with me, and the two 18-year-old young men working there were also quite engaging, and provided me with above average customer service. I consider this a hidden gem.

Love this place! It's become a tradition for me and my partner to get dinner here before or after seeing a movie at the Park Place mall. Servers are always attentive and friendly; the interior is clean, cozy, and uniquely decorated; and the food is always delicious. I'm a fan of the falafel especially - super crispy outside, fluffy and well seasoned inside. Paired with the hummus - perfect. There is a selection of domestic and imported beers plus wine, cocktails, and NA options, all reasonably priced. Plenty of parking since it's in a large lot. I always look forward to going back!
