Outstanding sushi restaurant. I like the fact that they are very clear on which rolls are on 1/2 off special each day of the week. The prices were very reasonable especially compared to some others in town I’ve tried the picture I have uploaded was only about $14 after tax and that’s after I ate a few of the pieces already. 100% will keep coming back. Also, get their chipotle mayo sauce!

Very dark in the restaurant and the food was not up to par. I would go across the street to sushi cortaro.

We like this place because their nigiris have generous portions, and every time, we try something different and delicious. We haven't been disappointed by their quality.

I’m going to make this short, my sushi was bland and tasteless, my beef Bulgogi was so overcooked, and the server did not even give me any rice nor a spoon with it so it could be shared, which leads me to the service, which was horrible, I do not understand why this place was packed with people, they must of all been ill informed or desperate because I know of at least 20 other sushi places in the city of Tucson that puts this place to shame. There was absolutely nothing that I liked about this place. Go to Takamatsu on Speedway and Craycroft SE corner for real Sushi

Tried several Japanese/Sushi restaurants in Tucson and this one is by far the best. Friendly wait staff, sushi has been consistently good, prices in line and portions are generous. Would highly recommend.

I was so pleasantly surprised I’m traveling and had been hiking all day just outside of Tucson. I decided I’d stop and have some sushi. I drove to two sushi for our first and they just didn’t look great. One look like it was a buffet the other looked like well. There were no people in the parking lot at 11:30 so I tried to third Felt like a little bit of a hole in the wall until I walked in immediate service, laughing and some of the best sashimi I have had in a while, fresh, beautiful color, beautiful cuts I had a sake within moments, and even though I had an ordered it a wonderful bowl of miso soup was delivered to my table. What I asked they said that was normal. Enjoy… believe me I did I will be back. Thank you ♥️

The food here is delicious!!! Service has been slow but it's obvious they are hustling and just appear understaffed.... We will be coming back :)

Shogun is our favorite sushi spot, it’s always good and with generous portions. Never had anything we didn’t like. The crab puffs are house made and so good. Service is usually pretty quick.Kid-friendliness: Shogun has a casual environment that’s welcoming of kids.

My husband has been going to Shogun for a couple of decades. When he and I met in 2009, this was one of our first dates....and it is our "go-to" restaurant when we plan a night out. While we rarely sit other than the sushi bar, the restaurant does offer general dining and quiet private areas and a full menu. The waitstaff and Sushi Chefs are pleasant. The Sashimi and Nigiri are fresh and bountiful...no skinny slices here. Sushi Roll specials are offered daily (which is a great way to try something new). They are closed the first Sunday of each month, so keep that in mind when planning a visit.Vegetarian options: Waitstaff is knowledgeable about these offerings and can answer questions easily.Parking: Shogun is located in small strip mall where parking isceasily accommodated.

I've been going here for 20 years and will not go anywhere else I absolutely love Shogun.Parking: There is definitely ample amount of parking. Check their hours before you go because they close in the middle of the day before dinner.
