We stopped here on a taco Tuesday bike ride and it did not disappoint. They have $2.50 tacos for taco Tuesday and they definitely do not skimp out on them. The salsa that comes with them is amazing as well. Tony (I think that’s what he said his name was) was extremely friendly and brought our food out to us when it was ready so we didn’t have to leave our bikes outside while we waited. We will definitely be planning to use this restaurant as our taco Tuesday go-to in the future. Highly, highly recommend!

I ate lunch here yesterday. I had a chile relleno burrito ($10.99) and a tamarind specialty raspado ($5.89). The burro was good, but the raspado did not impress me. Service was good and friendly. There is also a small market here, but I didn't buy anything to take home. The ambiance is functional; no attempt has been made to decorate the place.

This is the best place in Tucson for Raspados and all your Mexican Chucherias. The Mazapan Raspado is a 100 out of 10 ?. They also have amazing tacos, nachos, tamales, quesadillas etc. Taco Tuesday is only$2. I came 2 days in a row because it is so delicious and I loved it so much. Customer service is really good ? everyone is so polite. I will continue to visit this place constantly and you should do 2.

This place may have the friendliest staff in town. Along with a menu including burritos, tacos and menudos there is a little Mexican store and carniceria. The food came out quickly and was done well. The Birria was seasoned well. My husband enjoyed his burrito in which they were able to mix two of the meats he wanted to try. He just wished the salsa was more spicy. Ample indoor seating and a couple of outdoor tables as well. Great Aqua Fresca to cool off!

I really liked my tamale plate. The pork and shredded beef were flavorful and juicy, and the masa had a subtle spice. The refried beans were pretty good, though a bit bland (maybe they needed lard or bacon fat?) and the Spanish "red rice" was seasoned well but a bit dry. All in all, I'll be back to try the Chile Colorado. Also I loved the variety of authentic tortillas - I picked up the tiny street taco size in flour from Sonora (!) and dried guajillo peppers as well! They have a nice little market with a great selection of meats! Friendly and helpful manager too!
