Food was just ok? Prices have gone up. Food seems to have shrunken. The woman who served our table was rude. Maybe she was having a bad day?? But she never came back except she did bring a water jar then the bill. We asked for several things she never brought said she would but didn't. A young man serving other tables seemed to notice and eagerly helped us. He was very nice

If you like your Nigiri thick like a tire, this is the place for you. If you like your sweet shrimp to be an odd green color, this is the place for you. If you like your server to fill up your cup with a different drink than you ordered, this is the place for you. And finally if you keep trying to be polite to your server hoping that will help the situation, but won’t well then this is the place for you. This amazing sushi restaurant used to be phenomenal back in the day. Unfortunately it’s gone downhill a little bit but the tune is still good.? I really hope they turn it around. This used to be my favorite sushi restaurant in Tucson ?

The egg sushi was not good. No flavor really but the other sushi’s were so good and the yaki soba was SO GOOD.

I had the Salmon and Tuna sashimi. The pieces of Salmon were about half the size of what I get at home. The Tuna was about 2/3 the size.

This used to be the best place in Tucson. That changed about a year ago. I’ve given it 3 chances since then but I’m done. It’s very sad to see rude staff, terrible “sushi” chefs and mediocre food there now. I hope they sell to someone else who a) knows what they are doing and b) gives a damn about the taste, quality and art of Japanese food.

We eat here a lot because it is close and generally not bad, but is quite inconsistent. Cramped tables, often long waits. Service ranges from adequate to poor. Food ranges from barely adequate to fairly good. On a good day, it's an enjoyable enough experience. Maybe three out of four days are good days.

We have been coming to Sushi on Oracle for 20 years. It was our family favorite. After a move, we returned to Tucson so excited to eat here. It is obvious there are new owners along with a new staff. The service was not great, the sushi staff behind the counter seemed inexperienced. Our rolls fell apart as we tried to lift them with chopsticks. They served us smoked salmon instead of wild salmon nigiri. The fish was all precut and dried out. I could go on. It’s very sad to see such a successful family run business end up like this. Time to find a new favorite.

Best sushi & otherwise-Japanese food in Tucson! I grew up on the Gulf of Mexico, so it's hard for me to get sushi in Arizona that isn't a little bit disappointing, but Sushi on Oracle compensates for the land-locked factor really well in their fantastic work. My vegetarian friends like their non-fish selections a lot, too. The servers are kind and friendly, and the interior is sweet and relaxing; it reminds me of home (and the Houston, TX Japanese restaurant that I practically grew up in) rather a lot! Their teriyaki chicken is also excellent, and I love their agedashi tofu; their negi-toro makes me feel less homesick for the ocean, too. There's nothing clumsy or over-ambitious about their cuisine here; they keep it down-to-earth and real while also top-tier. I like to go here for special occasions, like my birthday or a visit from a friend who I rarely see. My one caveat is that if you're going for dinner on the weekend, you'll want to be prompt at 5pm! Or, to go a little after 7--they keep it real, but can get pretty busy as a result!

I want to love it here because the owners are so sweet and hard working but it is ok. I did try the unagi don the other day and it was good. Ot is fun to sit at the sushi bar but the place is so small there can be quite a wait for mediocre boring sushi, sorry
