We had a family birthday with 7 people last night. We called a couple of weeks in advance to talk about food options. The crab cakes were a real hit. Crab with a little bit to bind the meat and no fillers. We had 4 different flat breads. We picked 2 and asked Karol, the owner/chef to have fun and make 2 others. All 4 were hits. Loved the charcuterie boards and the fresh mixed salads. Finally, she baked a great birthday cake for us too. Everyone loved it.Their wine prices are much better than most restaurants. They aren't doing the mark ups you would get at most restaurants. The wine styles vary, so ask for recommendations. We also enjoyed a wonderful glass of port after dinner. We brought a bottle of Syrah home and are having it with dinner the following night. Another great choice.

Fantastic service, delicious food (esp the flatbreads), and a great selection of wine. We love this cozy setting for a date night!

Do you love cozy bistros with delicious light menu offerings (tapas) that pair perfectly with an impressive selection of quality wines? Terra Alta Bistro is charming, and just right for a date night. I chose meatballs & mushrooms, and they were happy to substitute red bell peppers for the mushrooms, which along with the flatbread, perfectly complemented my wine flight #11. My companion had albondigas soup and wine flight #19. This establishment's support of local artists is beautifully evidenced by the nice array of artwork displayed on the walls. The exquisitely polished wood tables and counters provide a classy vibe. Everything is notably clean and well kept. I loved the symmetry of the shelves of perfectly arranged wine bottles and crystal clear glasses. Outstanding customer service topped off this most enjoyable dining experience!

Enjoy affordable Arizona wines and terrific tapas at this tucked away place in the Catalina Foothills! Never crowded, and very friendly service. Tonight we are looking forward to live music too! If wine isn’t your thing, they have local beers too. (Much better that Piazza Gavi?)

Cute bistro! Great atmosphere and great people = excellent customer service. The food was delicious, seasoned well and full of flavor. The four wines I tasted were good. Unfortunately I am not a local, but if I was- I would definitely become a member and come here frequently.

In Tucson, they say that summer is for locals, and at Terra Alta Bistro, that means the good times are rolling even in monsoon season. With ties to the Wilhelm Family Vineyards in Elgin, Terra Alta features an impressive wine selection, and our host MaryAnn was friendly and helpful in explaining the menu’s nuances, including craft beers like a banana-split stout. As a huge cheese fan, my absolute favorite dish was the Goat Queso Blanco (with herbed bread and artisan chevre from Sonoita), and we can’t wait to go back and sample the flatbreads and other tapas. Absolutely love that they decorate with local art and offer live music every weekend too — great food and fresh grooves make for a fun evening!

My husband and I always enjoy the delicious food and wines we order The greens for the salad are very fresh and the dressings are made in house. We especially like the crab cakes that we share. We had about 18 people come to celebrate my birthday with a planned menu. Service was impeccable and very friendly. We love our interactions with the chef and manager to hear about how new dishes and sauces are created. Having this connection with the person who prepares the food is rare. We will be there regularly!

The restaurant we went to was for my Boss's Birthday Celebration. The atmosphere was delightful and the food and service were impeccable. Thank you so much for showing our company how inviting all of you were. My wife especially enjoyed the hospitality and the most heart warming food that was presented. Again thank you.

A little late with my review, we were here on Father's Day and had a great time. Staff was super friendly and food and drinks were great. We had some brunch and two flights of wine, crab cakes amazing!! The inside kind of gave me a coffee shop vibe but with wine, it was really cute. Would return & definitely recommend for a date or just something to do!
