This place was great. Very small and kind of hole in the wall local feel. Owner was crazy nice and came out to host us himself. We got the plate deal which was a steal and The food is prepared individually so came out fresh and tasted awesome! I'm not a veggie fan but the owner described the elaborate steps they take to prepare all the vegan items separate from normal ones which was pretty neat. All in if your looking for a very quiet date or meal and enjoy really hood curry give this place a go. Luckily I don't live far so I'll be back soon myself.
Friendly owner! Amazing food cooked to order. Mild, medium, or spicy. Great vegan and vegetarian options. Definitely order ahead if you don't want to wait. They cook everything from scratch.
I'm a bit sorry I detoured from from trip to try this place. The only reason I stopped was because of positive reviews. Maybe I caught them on an off day. The lamb kebab was dry and crumbly and not very well plated over a bed of lettuce. It looked unappetizing. Which is shame because it was actually very well seasoned. The only thing that seemed fresh was the naan which you have to order separately. The total of 20 dollars seemed a bit much for what I got in terms of portions and quality. Had it not been for the cordial greeting of the server I would have given 2 stars.
They charged overpriced for bread, cup of water and food pouch of rice. I ordered a very small portion of foods and still overpriced and foods taste horrible!! There's no taste on foods. It's bland. No taste!!! The plate look nasty and messy. They come back and showed me with empty plate. Also they charge me overpriced for yogurt! Really!?! It's the worst place I ever eat!! If you don't want to get robbed by overpriced and overcharged on foods then don't go that place!!! I rather to eat jail foods than that restaurant Now, I feel sick with stomach and my head feel light up. I found a roach! I found some hairs on rice and it's nasty. They overcharge me for another foods. There's a mold on bread that's how I got sick now.
Small, and with the nicest owner I've ever encountered! Limited, but good selection of dishes. The interior is surprising as it is paneled wood and reminds you of a lodge.

My favourite Indian place in town! Their lunch buffet is comprehensive, but also has some variations from day-to-day. Their regular menu portions are generous. The quality of food is consistently delicious. The ambiance is modern and clean. My only complaint, if any, is the same modern-jazz CD. It's not noticeable unless you eat there as often as I do.
I went here recently for lunch with my father and we enjoyed the food. This was my first time eating Indian food and I was surprised how spicy this was. My father and the people sitting by us said the same thing about how spicy it was. We both put cayenne pepper on everything and can handle spice better than most, but whatever spice they used, it was extremely spicy on every meat in the buffet. I'm not sure if it was a slow day when we went or if they put a lot more food out during supper time, but the buffet selection was really small. The food they did have had really great flavor and we both enjoyed it. We're planning on going back sometime in the near future, and I hope the day we went they accidentally went overboard on the spice.
GREAT Indian Food! Gotta love a good buffet style option. There wasn't a thing I tried I didn't like. Very nice place but feel free to go casual as we did. GREAT price for the options!
I love this resturant!! Best Indian food in baton rouge!!! In my experience you can't go wrong here. If you already have a favorite Indian dish, try their version! Otherwise, the owner is very friendly and can help pick options for you.
Nice quiet place. Ive been twice and there were not very many customers during my visit. There were different items on the buffet for both of my visits so if you're looking for something specific please ask to look at the buffet before you agree to sit. They also serve some yummy fresh warm pita bread to go with your meal. The staff members are very quiet and straightforward, so if you're looking for a stay in your face type of waiter this restaurant is not for you. Overall I enjoyed the experience.

Fresh and delicious food! My husband and I came in late (they were about to close) but we were greeted nicely. We were so tired from a trip and having a good, warm food was just what made our long day. Highly recommend!
I ate here for the first time the other day, and it was very good! I tried a bit of everything from the buffet and left happy and full. Very delicious!
I go for the food, lots of menu options. Good lunch buffet, wish I worked closer. The Garlic Nan makes me happy. Plus it's one of the most vegetarian friendly eat places in town. Wait service has always been polite.
The food and service was excellent..but they advertise an all you can eat buffet for supper and the was not a supper buffet
Food is amazing, service is great. The new owner/chef team has turn around the place. 5 star. Keep up the good work.
