Food was fast and delicious. The server/bartender was excellent. Friendly, great with the kids, good sense of humor, seems to genuinely enjoy. Overall a very pleasant experience after a long day on the road.

Ordered chicken cordon bleu with mashed potatoes and veggies. I guess they didn’t have mashed potatoes (not a big deal) so they gave a handful of fries.. but the veggies was a tomato cut in half and a piece of lettuce. The chicken cordon bleu was smothered in gravy. $30 for that? Yikes. Brutal.

Driving through and stopped for lunch here. I’d give them 5 stars on everything except that dirty bathroom! Service was exceptional, food was incredibly good, a lovely little diner experience… just clean your bathrooms! We got the beef dip, which was incredible according to my husband. I got the burger with cheese and bacon what was well cooked, bacon was perfect and not chewy, nice big pickle on top! The fries were flawless. Crispy on the outside and soft inside. A nice place to stop on the way through if you’re travelling this way. Total for two meals without drinks was about $40, which was enough to share with our little kids. And we left a big tip for such good service!

This little nook just off HWY 5 is worth the trip!! Wicked Burgers, solid service and it’s connected to the Sandman Hotel!! Located in Blue River, a few hours away from Kamloops, I recommend stopping in if you’re in the area or looking for a bite to eat and something to do!!! Cheers!

The French fries were from frozen. The ketchup bottle and cap were disgusting. It was my husband's idea to tip... The waiter was attentive. He was the only saving grace! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Breakfast was alright for lack of options in Blue River. It kind of seemed like the server was also the cook. I’d go here if i was hungry in Blue River again but wouldn’t stop here on purpose.

The service was medicore to very bad - we were 4 people (2 adults plus two kids) but the lady brought us 2 glasses of water and two sets of forks and knives - kids were totally ignored like they didn't exist. Chicken fingers were ok, fries very oversalted, their sandwich is just 2 pieces of bread with grilled chicken and lettuce leaf for 18 dollars - rip off...The attitude of the lady was like we were guilty that we disturbed her from doing something personal...

What a place! You can’t complain when it’s a small town and maybe your expectations aren’t high pulling in—but I loved The Grill! Best place in town with the best staff and excellent WiFi. Pleasantly surprised by the large selection of options. When you are on the road a lot..a home cooked meal is what you are craving and they delivered it top notch. We came here three times driving back and forth through the area while exploring the Rockies. Tip your server well because they deserve it!

Despite being so swamped that he had to turn customers away, the guy here was super friendly and attentive. The food was way better than I expected. Better than most restaurants I've been to. It was just a detour, but I plan on coming back every time I'm heading through 10/10

The day we stopped the restaurant was extremely busy one waitress and one cook we were greeted and told to sit wherever Considering the short staff our food was served promptly and was decent tasting

Let me start by saying the service here was 5 stars easily. Also the egg was super rich and reminded me of the farm fresh eggs I grew up on. The hollandaise was also spot on just the way I like it. The bacon was a perfect balance of meat and little fat. The flavour of the pancakes was a delight! However, the hash browns were limp and unevenly cooked The pancakes had burned spots and the batter was overly beaten rendering the cakes too chewy.Could be a BC thing, but the same meal out east would be around $10/person.

Went to the grill at 5:00pm Saturday June 4/22 to enjoy a nice dinner with my wife. Restaurant was closed. Their online website said the restaurant was open. I called the restaurant no answer. Went in the Sandman Inn to inquire. Not a soul to be found anywhere! I phoned the Sandman Inn and big surprise no answer. What a big disappointment.

Just the best service, lovely staff. The food was good, solid diner fare. Hot and ready in a flash ? Try the decaf coffee while you’re there!
