I really wanted to like this place, the menu looked interesting and I was really looking forward to it. I chose the kalamari dinner which was a mistake. The menu says "fried kalamari" and I assumed it would be pan-fried, not deep fried. I would suggest the restaurant specify "deep fried" to description of this dish. I would have ordered something else if I'd known. It was basically a huge plate of ordinary deep fried kalamari and fries, with a bit of risotto.
I found the Greek chips disappointing - it's basically normal fries, with a bit of lemon and feta in the middle - most of the fries did not have lemon/feta and were just dry fries.
It's an interesting idea to add the spinach risotto but I don't think it goes with the dish. Maybe a bit of Greek salad instead?
The service was quite slow, we were left unattended for long periods before the food came, and again when it was time to pay. A man who I assume was the owner checked on us a few times during the evening and was very friendly, that was the only positive. Maybe other dishes are better but I would probably not go back.

Really delicious Greek food! I’ve always walked by this place in North Burnaby and we decided to finally give it a try for dinner!
We ordered a variety of dishes, the trio of hummus and dips, lamb chops, chicken and the moussaka.
The dishes were superb! They all had really good flavours and tasted fresh and yummy! The moussaka was great, it’s very heavy and umami like tasting, and had great filling! The eggplant was super soft, sweet and cooked very well. The lamb chops were nicely marinated same with the half chicken too.
The best part was the calamari and the trio of dips. The calamari was nice and crunchy and wasn’t overly oily at all. Further, the fish roe and hummus were so good. Highly recommend getting it with extra pita!
Really thoroughly enjoyed this place, very good tasting Greek food. Definitely will come back. Friendly waitress too!

Seems like they serve smaller portions than some other Greek restaurants I've visited. Also a bit of a different taste, not bad just different and definitely worth trying if you have gotten used to the traditional Greek food taste. e.g. Greek lemon rice, lemon potatoes. Etc
The kalamari was good but not crispy enough. The lamb skewer was the best part, really juicy although again a smaller portion than usual. I'd prefer the regular lemon potatoes to the fries. Service was really good and fast, friendly staff.
Owner seems like was really focused in a couple of tables and just came to say if everything was ok.
Overall it was a good experience but I was hoping to find "THE" Greek restaurant to sway me away from my top 3 choices in metro Vancouver, or make it a top 4 but it didn't happen. Maybe I'll give it another shot another time but I still have other restaurants to try first.

It was the best greek food I ever had! Really delicious, excellent quality of fish, meat and veggies, huge portions. Their fig hummus and olive tapenade were especially to die for. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The owner came to our table and chatted with us - such a lovely person. Me and my husband loved being in this place and will definitely be regulars.
Wonderful Greek restaurant, small seating capacity, but nicely intimate and comfortable. Food is fantastic, but not your typical Vancouver Greek style. It is lighter, not as overloaded with overwhelming sides. The meats are tender and moist, and everything else tastes fresh. My favorite are the lamb chops, thicker than any Greek restaurant I have been to. Service is impeccable, with Nick in the front and Irene in the kitchen (owners). Enjoy.
Parking: Lots in front and on the side.
Wheelchair accessibility: Physically small space but no stairs.
I am visiting from Montreal and this Greek food knocked the Montreal restos out of the park! Excellent ambiance, friendly staff, extra accommodating service. Shout out to Irene, she is the owner and made me feel quite at home. Will definitely be coming back for that lamb!
I had the best experience at oloves! When we entered, me and my friends were seated immediately, and Vivian, our amazing server poured us some water while we were deciding on what to eat. Everything on the menu sounded delicious and had various options for different dietary restrictions. The restaurant was so cute and cozy and was extremely clean. The food and music were great and authentic. We literally left all our plates spotless because it was that good. And the cost of these amazing meals were great and the portions were perfect. The owner of the store, Niko, was amazing. He chatted with us and made us laugh, learned our names and was very attentive to every customer. Overall, if I had to go out to eat, this would be the place I would go. I would recommend it to anyone who wants an amazing experience.

I LOVEEEEEDDD coming here!! The owner Nico came by to our table and checked in with us cracking jokes and making sure we were satisifed! He got to know everyone at our table and made us laugh the whole time there. The server Vivian was also so amazing!! She helped recommend food and drinks and helped with any dietary restrictions. The food itself was so delicious and filling, and the portions and pricing was great!! The restaurant was so clean, we could see into the kitchen and it was so spotless, the washroom was clean and the seating area so tidy. The setting was calm and the music was great! I would come here again and recommend everyone to come as well!!
