Holy cow. We are here by chance when we were passing through the area and we're really glad we did. I've got pretty high standards for a burger and this was the best burger I've had in a long time. Perfectly seasoned patty that was perfectly cooked, a really good bun and toppings that were all fresh and perfectly proportioned. Adding to the fact that the food was great, the couple running the place were really friendly and made the experience even better. The fellow working even came out to check on us and show the kid with us how to use the toy crane that was there. On that note they had a really nice selection of toys to keep the littles amused while the grown-ups demolished their delicious meals.
I don't know when I'll be back in Coombs but I'll definitely be stopping here every time!

Vegetarian options: There didn't seem to be a lot of veg options but there was a really tasty sounding grilled cheese sandwich and a Greek wrap on the menu

We enjoyed lunch at the Firetruck grill. Everyone was friendly, and the novelty of the truck adds to a neat atmosphere.
The four stars is based around price/value. The burgers were really tasty, with good sauce. The grilled cheese for the kids left a little to be desired: store bought bread and almost too much Kraft cheese slices. I'd say things were prices about $2 high per item. No fries are offered, and there is no longer a kids menu.
Getting the food took about 20 minutes, which is a little longer than I'd expect for basic burgers and grilled cheese when it isn't a busy time. Thankfully there were toys for the kids to play with. If the weather is great, the wait isn't bad, but if it's raining, I could see this being a real mess.
Parking: There are a few spots off the road, in front of army surplus, and a bigger parking lot around the side.
Kid-friendliness: No longer a cheaper kids menu. They do have a number of firetruck themed toys that are available for play. The kids loved playing while they waited. No real kid friendly seating available.
