I had a delightful lunch here on the patio. The server was kind and friendly, and the food was delicious and tasted homemade, in the best of ways. The burger bun was especially good and we learned they are made in-house. We also really enjoyed the calimari and the fries.

We always enjoy the chance to visit High Tide. The food and drink are very good.
We enjoyed our visit to Courtenay and finished the day with a meal at High Tide. We sat outside on the patio where the table was a bit tippy. Nice view of the street traffic. I had a delicious blackberry margarita and veggie burger. The food was very good, portions generous. Our server was not particularly friendly. We had a great time however, visiting with two other customers at a nearby table. Prices were reasonable.Vegetarian options: The veggie burger was very good.

While visiting Courtney, we stopped here for a drink and decided to have a starter to go with our drink. I ordered the Calamari to share and they were excellent! I love calamari and have sampled it from all over the world. This calamari was one of the best I have ever had. The peppers and tomato were perfect with them and when I asked for a different dipping sauce since I cannot have Yogurt, the cook suggested a spicy aioli which worked perfectly!

Visiting Courtney this summer, we stopped here for drinks while exploring the downtown. Their location right on 4th street (The main street), is convenient and their nice front patio allows you to relax while watching the street activity. We had a beer and a drink and decided to try their calamari. It was delicious, cooked perfectly with peppers and tomatoes. I was unable to eat the yogurt sauce but the chef suggested a spicy aioli which was perfect!
