The "hashbrowns" are next world. The eggs benefict was some of the best ive ever had and the entire experience was relaxing and satisfying. Happy palate happy life.Dietary restrictions: Was very accommodating to my dietary restriction and had GF options for some items

The first thing I have to say about Ocean 7 is that the atmosphere is exquisite. We went there in the evening, and the lighting, music, seating space, and service was all close to perfect. The steak tare tare was the star of the show. It was a generous portion for the cost and the flavor was out of this world.I had the seafood pasta and my girlfriend had the grilled arctic char. All the seafood was fresh and delicious, and the serving sizes were great. Not too big, not too small.I want to make a special note that our server, Daniel, gave us absolutely wonderful service above and beyond what I normally would have expected at a restaurant. He was cheerful, informative, helpful, and attentive, and it was much appreciated.I will absolutely be going back to Ocean 7 again, and I would recommend it to anyone.

We came in on Sunday morning for breakfast (Late December). At first glance, this is a beautiful setting for a meal. Really nice setting both inside and out, with a great ocean view too!Unfortunately, our initial service experience was quite poor as we stood at the host table for about 10 minutes, awkwardly making eye contact with the bartender and other staff members. We were just about to leave until a young guy led us to a table. The food is quite pricy, which I was surprised by considering I had coffee stains all over the paper menu. Regardless, we had some coffees, Mussels, Korean Fried Chicken, and the Avocado eggs benny. The food was extremely tasty, and did the setting of the restaurant justice!Overall, it ended with a pleasant experience!

Food was far better than I imagined, great options for all tastes but the real star of the show was the quality of food and wait staff. Don’t skip out when you are here.

Terrible food nowhere near worth the price they charge. Ordered the arctic char, bad mistake nothing on the plate was good. Gf had the french onion soup and the ceaser salad, wich both apparently sucked. Will not be going back.

12/2/2023 brunch with family. Great service, lovely ambience and the finest burger I have ever consumed. My wife, who is VERY particular, had the traditional eggs Bennie and ranks them in the top 3 of all times. My SIL and nephew had the traditional 2 egg breakfast with chicken sausage and were more than satisfied. We lucked out on the weather and were able to tour the beautifully decorated courtyard in brilliant sunshine. This is the third year for this brunch gathering. Kingfisher have considerably improved their food quality. I’d come back just for the burger.

Food was terrible, ordered the arctic char, the fish was ok but bland, the little apple ball things they put on the plate almost made me throw up they were so bad. Drinks weren't very good either. Gf had the frebch onion soup and ceaser salad wich both sucked as well. Will not be going back or recommendeding this place to anyone.

Anniversary dinner. We were greeted at the door , the second we stepped in.Seated by the window as we were an early reservation. The Ocean views are stunning.Ingenious is the way the roof outside is "decorated" so you dont stare at a bare roof top.By the way, arrive early as the restaurant fills up by 7 pm.All evening we felt at peace/ease.May be the ambience(music, lights, carpetted floor) and the gentleness of the serving staff created that feeric atmosphere.Walked outside in between meals to enjoy the garden area and the serenity of it.The Chef is definetly an artist. The beautiful presentation and the tastfulness of the dishes is sublime.

A coworker and I tried ocean7 on a whim, first time there. Our first impression, the garden, was incredible. Such a fabulous light display for the holiday season.Once at the restaurant the service was prompt and there was a very welcoming atmosphere. We had the waygu steaks. The aioli dip was phenomenal. The beef was so tender, and we added a side of the roasted Brussel sprouts which were recommended to us by our server. They were a culinary delight of flavors. Kudos to the chef on every part of the meal.Prices were more than fair for the quality of the meal and the dining experience.Following the meal we strolled through the garden again, stopped by a propane fire pit and reflected on the fabulous experience.Highly highly recommend this restaurant

Brunch after a spa day. Despite the day being grey and rainy, the restaurant was excellent. Our greeting by the front desk was warm. The coffee was very good and the cup was filled often and without prompting. One person had the double cheeseburger and remarked that the bun was small in contrast to the burger patties. The eggs benny were well presented. The avocado and tomato benny was served on a gluten free toast with the potatoes also being gluten free. The fish benny was loaded with fish and in both dishes the eggs were perfect at soft / medium.

One night spa getaway from Victoria. Outstanding food - bread, hummus, steak tartare, seafood pasta and we tried the Lion’s main mushroom - unique and very good! All beautifully presented. Our server Jance (sp?) was excellent and everything moved at a very comfortable pace. The atmosphere is very nice, there was a surprisingly rowdy table nearby but not the restaurant’s fault and glad they were having fun.

One of the best meals we ever had. I’d eat here over many other haute cuisine eateries. The food tasted perfect, presentation was also a perfect 10. And the price is most reasonable, wine list is good. It is our favorite restaurant in all of Vancouver Island.
