My partner and I love to get the Mixed Platter for 2 as take out. We add an extra chicken skewer and it’s enough food to feed 3. Great assortment of veggies, meat, dips and sides - always delicious, friendly service, high quality food.

Wonderful location, friendly service and delectable house made goodies conspire against you at Lara Cuisine to keep you going back to the menu to try just one more item! The appetizers in particular were palate perfection.I opted for the lamb skewer entree, and it was a good choice. Each bite was a treat for my tongue, with the lamb cooked to utter perfection and the seasonings on point. The meal loses 1 star from me only because the potatoes were overcooked and the portion not quite fitting for the price tag. But make no mistake- dining at Lara was a super noontime chow session and I would absolutely go again.P.S. Try the pastry cigars to our your self control to the ultimate test! Betcha can't eat just one.

Absolutely delicious Falafel Plates - they come with falafel, roast potatoes, rice pilaf, tabbouleh (which was the first thing I finished it was so yummy), pita, as well as tzatziki, hummus, and tahini. I will for sure be back!

I was excited to try this place as it offers vegan dishes but its a pass for me. Came on a Sunday and sad outside. I scoped the menu before I ordered but the online and physical menus differ slightly. I wanted to try their veggie plater (Falafel Plate - Deep fried Falafel topped with our house made tahini sauce & served with rice, lemon potatoes, tzatziki, humus, pita & salad*) and I chose Shepherds Salad (Fresh tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, mint, tossed with lemon and olive oil, topped with Kalamata & feta) but omitted tzatziki and feta. Portion was a great size for $15 but the food was not very good. The salad was mainly tomatoes, maybe 5 pieces of tomatoes, a few slices of onions and 2 halves of olives. I din't think it was dressed and definitely no mint. The falafels were dry and the tahini was non existence. Rice was bland and it came with the smallest side if hummus (plain, nothing much to say). Lemon potatoes were the best side. My sister ordered the beef wrap and she said it was awful. Dry and flavourless and she wouldn't eat. It was very disappointing. The place was busy so maybe it was just an off day but this is not a place I would revisit.

Exception salads with the best tabbouleh and dolma. We shared the appetizer plate and mixed plate and loved every bite.

We stopped in for tea and dessert with friends from the Ladner area. The sweets were excellent baklava and semolina cake. Both excellent tasting, sweet and delicious
