I love this place, it's become a personal favourite for my partner and I. The sushi is amazing, and the building is small in a cozy way. My only negative is that I'm not a fan of the ramen and udon's broth, but everything else on the menu is very good.

Food is great, but this place is INSANELY understaffed. They have 1 person working and it is not a good experience. Other customers were literally complaining as they were leaving that you're understaffed.

Cute little sushi shop! We have loved coming here since our move to Delta years ago. Friendly staff.We are vegetarian and they are great with any requests when dining in or for our take out.Food is delicious and Wasabi is always so fresh.

Not very nice fresh food compare with previous owner since the new owner purchased this restaurant round Sep - Oct 2023. Food cooked very dry, greasy. Portion is much smaller. Also the Teriyaki chicken or Salmon was too salty. For sure never want to go to Todai again. The owner does not like or accept any suggestion or feedback even you try to talk to him. Todai lost their business from us for sure. Too bad we were eating there at least 2 times per week before this new ownership.

The food is good. We went two weeks in a row and we had exact the same service?both time one of us was almost finished food that we ordered and still waiting for the other one. It happened the other table people next to us, too. This time was same. Almost finished the food and forgot order…I brought my friend from Vancouver Island and I felt embarrassed… she was excited to eat Japanese food. Good thing was her came first but mine didn’t until almost finished hers. I asked them twice”where was my order?”The staff said “sorry, we are busy…” that is NOT excuse not a good customer service…I won’t go back again even food is decent.And still asking for the tip? ?

A beautiful place with the best sashimi I've had in my life!
Excellent place, delicious and well priced food. The place is a little more cramped then they deserve, but it makes for a cozy experience. I've ordered many times before, but I decided to go for something simple. So I got some california and dynamite rolls, which were very tasty as always. I also tried some chicken yaki soba for the first time and it is my new favorite. The server is always polite and sweet, I adore the brightness she brings to every visit.

The food is awful, and the service is worse. Ordered a roll from here and they made something completely different, it did not taste good at all. I went with my son and the waitress just kept brushing us off and acting like we were just a nuisance. Don't recommend this place and definitely won't be returning.
