Ordered soup on a cold winter day but it didn't satisfy me at all. Heard so many good reviews but the food really disappointed. Soup was sooo bland, it even lacked salt. No taste at all. And the bowl was full of noodles. I found 2-3 juliennes of carrot, 1 slice of mushroom, 2 to 3 slices of jalapeño and some cilantro. I really had to write down like this because this is exactly the amount added. It was for around $11 with no veggies and no protein and the broth was like water with no taste. Absolute rip off!

As part of a walking food tasing tour, we stopped here for a bite. What is had was really good. Nice and fresh. Had I known about this place sooner (versus the day before we left), I would have gone here for a more substantial meal. There is a nice sitting spot outside with a fire pit (they even gave us blankets), as well as seating inside. I will definitely go back.

The best steam buns I’ve had in Canada hands down! Great team in the kitchen. Cool atmosphere.

BoxcAr Kitchen is a bit of a hole in the wall at the back beside BNA’s brewery and tap room. The banh mi & steamed buns are excellent and definitely worth seeking out! The ingredients are fresh, flavorful, nicely seasoned, which takes both the sandwich and the buns to a new/delicious level! Highly recommend eating here and ordering a BNA beer to go with. I can’t wait to return for more buns and banh mi. Yummy!

We got a couple of banh mi's (rootbeer pork and chili chicken) and the boxcar fries take out from here. The root beer pork was really interesting - I would recommend and order again! The pork was extremely tender and had a hint of sweetness that you would expect from root beer. The chili chicken on the other hand was more ordinary but did carry a good spice. The fries have melted cheese that was grilled onto them and the dip (which seems like a combination of sesame, peanut, soy sauce, vinegar, and mayo... I think) was enjoyable. The place itself seems like a great one to hang out, play some skeeball, and have a few drinks. Definitely will be going back to try some of their other items and enjoy the atmosphere!

The best steamed buns you will get in Kelowna! 4 different versions, plus a special every week! The staff are all very cool, and cater to your every need! They have vegan options as well! Also, they make the most scrumptious asian noodle salad, and mouth watering boxcar fries! The fries are twice baked hand cut, and topped with 2 cheeses, plus a white garlic sauce. You won't want fries from anywhere else. Always amazing here, and worth the visit. But be warned, you'll be going back again and again!

We were at Tugboat Beach with our kids and decided to find somewhere to eat lunch. We saw this place was nearby so we ventured forth. What an experience. We had such a great time. I enjoyed a pint from BNA while my husband showed the kids how to play Skeet Ball. We ordered a family meal which has a variety of baos and banh mi as well as fries. The kids adored it. Our table was an old suitcase trunk. You MUST check it out.

OMG crazy great food I tried to get photos of the food itself but no luck ate them too fast.Soup was excellent but the pork buns were next level. It's not expensive nor is it budget good quality food that tastes great at a slightly above average price. I'll take the family back again ASAPThe real winner was all the vintage arcade games, board games, and amusement park Sleep ball. We had a blast. The BNA beer is well worth trying.
Probably the best casual food spot in all Kelowna. The woman working was so helpful and nice and the food was uniquely delicious (especially the steam buns). Great experience.

I like to try new restaurants and food as much as the next person, but find myself more often then not very disappointed. Not today! Food was wonderful and very creative! Definitely putting this on my go to list.

Tasty food good variety. Interesting fusion of foods and flavor. May not be everyone's cup of tea
