I enjoyed drinks at their bar where the staff, particularly Xavier and the other servers (whose name I forget), were incredibly friendly. The bar offers a wide selection of drinks and features a sports bar atmosphere along with a pool table. Although they have a good selection of food available, unfortunately, I did not have the chance to try it. Overall, it was a great experience.

Food was average at best. The bibimbap was so spicy it was almost inedible. The 'creamy pesto' was almost all cream and no pesto, the 'garlic bread' all bread and no garlic...very bland. We also waited quite a long time after ordering to get our food. Won't be back.

I moved to Nelson in July, this happened to be the first bar l walked into and every staff member was so welcoming! The staff go above and beyond every time I walk through those doors. The drinks and food are awesome + delicious! Can’t go wrong with having the options for stopping in for a quick beer to having a full blown feast. Love it!Wheelchair accessibility: Can come through the back door/entrance way thats off the parking lot.

Ok, so if you’re not from Nelson, November is Burger Month!I found this out accidentally when I came in the middle of November and was greeted by nearly forty burger choices, all made with the intention of being THE BEST burger in town!The variety was insane, and nothing I tried disappointed.Uptown has some really friendly and welcome staff, I’ve already mentioned the food, and if you like a small but varied selection of beers, this place did that well too.If you’re in the area, especially if it’s November, do yourself a favour and come try the menu.

A great sports bar to go to in Nelson. Don’t like sports? Well they do great food! I had the pulled pork sandwich which was very flavourful and not fatty. There are multiple TV’s showing lots of sports games. Music system is is very good. I would highly recommend going for dinner there if there is a big game on or if your looking to go with a group of people. The vibe is very social and warm however if you’re table is by the door you will inevitably have a draft if every time the door opens. Overall I would definitely recommend.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian, options available.Dietary restrictions: Foods with dietary restrictions available.Parking: There is street parking available, on the main streets you do have to pay but not over a certain time. As well as street parking there are a multiple free and paid parking lots around the town.Kid-friendliness: It’s a sports bar with a lot of TV’s unless they like sport it’s not something I would recommend

Pac NW and Beyond Travel
Great and convenient place to eat at considering I was staying in the attached hotel. Lunch was the pictured potato skins with salsa and several Crown and cokes. Dinner was Carnivore pizza and more drinks. Loved the atmosphere, and the staff was amazing. Cannot wait to visit again!!! My visit was March 31, 2023.
