Was not impressed. Will not go back. So many mishaps : cutlery put on the table not napkins. Waited 45-50 mins for food- waitress never v
Came to check on us- refills/apologize for lateness. Ask us if we wanted so bread to compensate for making my 90 year old Aunt wait 50 mins for her food. Food comes no drink refills- doesn’t ask us if we would like salt or pepper or even cheese on our pasta. Caesar salad had barely any dressing- had to ask for more.We asked for pistachio on the side - never came. Food was good but service was not to par. I had to ask and tell the waitress how to do her job. We even gave her a generous tip. She didn’t deserve it.

I didn’t expect to come across such a nice restaurant in Deep Cove tourist area. The lingcod with snow pea risotto is incredible. The surface of the fish was crispy, but the fish is cook perfectly. The risotto was soft, a little creamy, but not too heavy. My friend said the falafel was very nice too.

Arms Reach Bistro in Deep Cove is amazing! We tried the penne, spaghetti, burger, and chicken — each dish was top-notch. The vibe is cozy, and the view of the water is beautiful. Highly recommended!

Right next to a beautiful view.
Went here, got sat down and got no service for 20 minutes. No one came to help serve us so we got up and left.

food was spectacular
A North Van favourite for decades. We love Arm's Reach, a Canadian New restaurant with water views in Deep Cove.
The beef carpaccio. Highly recommend it 👌🏻
Perfect over a decade ago, and still perfect today
Great for small groups and big groups, special family occasions and events like Mothers day brunch. Baby change table in the washroom
A staple to keep coming back to. Been here over a dozen times
A Go-To spot for excellent Salmon and Cod Dishes
This restaurant consistently delivers, especially when it comes to their salmon and cod.
The cod dish was served atop a shrimp risotto with a light, clean flavor. The cod itself was well-seasoned, and when combined with the risotto, the two made for a perfectly balanced bite. That said the risotto alone felt slightly bland, so it’s best enjoyed together with the cod.
The salmon was pan seared to perfection- crispy skin intact offering a nice crunch along with the nutritional benefits. It stood out as a well-executed dish on its own.
Cucumber salad with mixed herbs came on the side. While aromatic, the strong combination of herbs made it difficult to pinpoint a clear flavor, and the bold scent somewhat overpowered the salmon
Overall, it’s a great place to share a delicious meal with friends. With consistently solid dishes and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s a spot I find myself returning to again and again.
Excellent restaurant in Deep Cove. We had the favourite dishes according to the staff; the spicy spaghetti was huge (we shared it and were full after the entries) and definitely the best one that we tried. Also worth mentioning the cheesecake which was amazing. Atmosphere is super nice, but a noisy group joined in the table next to us and made the experience less pleasant (not the restaurant’s fault though, I don’t know how they could’ve handled this). Definitely recommend going for a special occasion.
Came in on a Saturday afternoon and was lucky to be sat in immediately. The food was wonderful and looked identical to the images I had from two years ago. Very consistent. This has to be one of if not my favourite restaurant. The carpaccio and the mussels are to die for and always my go to. Couldn't recommend it more. Our server MAX was exceptional. Genuinely seemed to love his job and provided an unforgettable experience with his recommendations, enthusiasm and care. Even wrote a thank you on our receipt. His talks were engaging and felt alive.
Next time I’m in town I really hope to see him again.
Didn’t know just how much good service can elevate a dining experience until I came here.

Had a delicious lunch. Halloumi beet salad. Garlic toast and cauliflower salad were fantastic. Great location with views of the cove. Wish we lived closer!!
A tad pricey, but the food (mussels, burger, calamari) was some of the best I have had in Vancouver in a while… whoever your head chef is, keep him.
(Italian and with high standards for food quality)
It's rare for me to drop a perfect score, but the food, the atmosphere, AND the service were all amazing. But of them all, the Haida Gwai Lingcod was about the best dish I had in the past 5 years, maybe even longer.
Based on the pictures here, I can tell that the menu here changes quite frequently. Which is a shame, cause that dish deserves a permanent residence at Arm's Reach.
Dog friendly
Quite expensive for brunch when half the plate is just potatoes. Eggs were also quite small. Crab special was a bit bland. Coffee was good though. Price doesn't match the quantity or quality.
