This used to be my favourite restaurant in North Van, but unfortunately, the quality has declined over time. The verdure al forno was once a 10/10 — beautifully prepared and full of flavour. Recently, it seems the preparation method has changed, and both the flavour and presentation have noticeably suffered. I hope to see a return to the quality that once set this place apart

I've been meaning to try this place because their Verdure al forno (roasted vegetable platter) looks really yummy. This weekend we decided to have an early meal to beat the crowd. We ordered Egg White Frittata and Cipolla Vegan Pizza. Both items looked and tasted delicious. Instead of the usual tomato or cream sauces, the vegan pizza had roasted red pepper sauce which added a unique taste profile. There is no garlic on the pizza—which is outstanding—with no unpleasant after taste. We still have to go back and try the roasted vegetable platter. The restaurant is elevated from the street with large picture windows. It's nice and bright inside during the day.

I came here with my friend at lich time. I got Pest di noccioole and it was very good. It just right portions and pest sauce is perfect. I really like this pasta. Also I ordered chocolate cake as well. It was bit too sweet but was good.
Service was not good to be honest. Our server was good, she was really friendly and nice. But I didn’t feel good because of manager(maybe). His attitude was bad and rude to us. I really like food but I think I won’t go back.

Excellent authentic Italian food and cocktails. Service was quick and the food was outstanding. We shared the polpette, hazelnut pesto bruschetta and rigatoni ragu. Delicious. Highly recommend!!

The dough was super rubbery and kind of ruined the whole thing. I expected that light, airy crust with a bit of char, but it felt dense and overworked instead. The toppings weren’t anything special either.
Not the worst pizza I’ve ever had, but definitely not something I’d go back for.

We came here as a surprise for Father’s Day. We walked in and luckily they had a no show for a reservation so we had the table for 1.5 hours until 7pm.
The atmosphere was very relaxed but the food being served at other tables looked amazing.
Our younger son had the special Diavola Pizza. It had some spicy salami, olives, onion and banana peppers with spicy tomato sauce. He asked them to exclude the artichoke. He really enjoyed the heat as he likes spice!
Our older son had the Quattro Formaggi Pizza as he loves his cheeses. It had lots of flavour and was ooey, gooey good!
My wife had the Zucca Piselli e Prosciutto. It had Campanelle, pea, arugula & squash purée, English pea, butter, parmigano, pecorino, crispy prosciutto with a white wine and lemon juice sauce. She loved the different flavours of the veggies, crispy meat, cheeses and the lemon juice with its acidity in the white sauce!
I ordered the Frutti Di Mare as I love seafood! With prawns and mussels it was so amazing! The black ink squid pasta is something I haven’t had locally here, only in Venice a long time ago. The sauce with cherry tomatoes, nduja butter, fennel, parsley and focaccia bread crumbs was so good especially for dipping the homemade crispy bread into that came along with it!
For drinks our younger son had a blood orange Italian soda while our older son had a lemon Italian soda. They found them really refreshing as it was very hot. My wife had a live glass of red wine while I had a can of sumner with a Beva Fresco (lemon Saison) beer which went perfect with this meal!
There were lots of families and couples enjoying the awesome food and the hospitality of the amazing staff such as our server Erin! My first time here but it won’t by my last!

A cute authentic Italian spot with excellent pasta, pizza, wine and more. They make their pizza dough, bread, and pasta in house. It’s one of my top favourite spots in the entire lower mainland.
Favourite dish is zucca piselli e prosciutto - if I could eat here every week, I would.

The atmosphere and service was good.
We ordered a pasta carbonara and the prosciutto/arugula pizza which wasn't the best. The consistency of the pasta and pizza were good. Thin and crusty, pasta were al dente. However, the sauce of the pasta was not great with little bacon on it and too much black pepper. Pizza was just tomato sauce and a little bit of cold cheese, not even melted, and the arugula and prosciutto. Maybe I'm too picky about pizza and pasta since I've had so many good ones.
