My hubby and I went here for lunch. Great tasting dim sum ! The hot and sour soup was very tasty ! Overall we were happy with the quality.

What we ordered was decent in quality and taste, but charging for tea was unacceptable. The chicken chow mein was also over $30! Just 3 dishes cost close to 90?! I guess the tea was also added to that. The attitude from the staff was also dissapointing and would not be coming back. Have come here for years, but feels different now.

They charge for go to containers ! I was very surprised. Their sauces are not testy at all. I hope they improve their sauces.

The pork was absolutely disgusting and was rotten/had some sort of stench, the waiter made some excuses (e.g. the chef tasted our meat and said it was fine, etc.) Service was mid and there were a lot of empty tables (def not a good sign). WOULD NOT Recommend if you dont wanna get food poisioning or smth. ALSO food was extremely overpriced, charging around 35 bucks for dishes that would cost 10-15 bucks smwhere else. Please dont be fooled by the vast amount of options they serve bc the meat and veggies and all that arent fresh and likely spoiled. Blacklisting this restaurant.

We had a very disappointing experience. The older lady who served us was extremely rude, which was already surprising but what shocked us more was that the manager at the front wasn’t any more friendly or accommodating.

They charged us extra for sauce and a to-go box without informing us, which felt sneaky and dishonest. The portion of sauce that came with the meal was tiny to begin with, and then we were charged for more without any notice. That’s not acceptable.

We also received a lettuce wrap that was basically unusable. The lettuce was the end piece, starting to go red, and definitely not fresh. When we politely brought it up, the server brushed it off with an excuse and made no effort to help.

The overall service felt cold and careless. It really felt like they didn’t care about their customers at all. We won’t be coming back. They’ve lost their business by treating people this way and being dishonest with charges.

Excellent food. We had Peking duck - 3 course meal. $ 120 for the meal. We got a small portion of hoisin sauce and lettuce leaves that could not wrap anything. Only small yellow inner pieces except two large green leaves for the whole duck. We asked for more hoisin sauce. There each were so small. At the end we were charged 4 dollars for each small sauce. We also were charged 2 dollars each for the take out containers for the soup we took. All in all the meal came to 150 dollars including tea. It is not what we remembered the restaurant from before. Would not go back for such a petty amount to pay for sauces when we thought it was included with the meal. Just a matter of principal. I have to recommend the classical music they played - excellent choice

This was always my go to place on the North Shore to get Peking duck. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed this time that although the quality of the duck was very good, the lettuce wraps that were served were from the center of the lettuce and could not be used to wrap anything. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she just said oh it’s very fresh and this is normal. I asked her could you show me how to wrap something with this lettuce and she just debated with me that this was how it is. Anyway, after the meal, I mentioned it to the manager who told me that maybe the good lettuce was sold out as lettuce wraps are popular. Nobody even thought to give me an apology for serving substandard unwrappable lettuce. I can understand lapses in quality and quantity, but not in attitude or service. They saved three bucks on lettuce, but they lost me as a customer. To add insult injury, I was surprised that I was charged for tea, the small portion of hoisin sauce, and also for the two takeout containers. I’ve been coming here for years and I’m disappointed by this change and will not be returning. The food quality is generally good, but I can no longer recommend this restaurant. My advice is if you want a good duck, go to either Sun Given or Osaka supermarkets and buy it yourself and prepare it at home. It’s a fraction of the price, the same quality and without the stress.

Quite contrasting experiences in the reviews. We went for dinner last night an hour before they closed. Upon entering we were warmly greeted with a sincere smile. We had a couple of questions about the menu and our server was helpful.
The food was delicious. The beef was so tender. Wonton soup was terrific. The place was clean. Both people we encountered were very friendly. We both left so full, almost bordering on discomfort.
We also visited a few years ago and had a good experience also. The date has a special importance to us and the food and service added to that memory. A little expensive.

Overall okay. But too expensive for the quality. Also, they charged 20 dollars for teas and setup which is a complete turnoff

We ordered a lobster and was charged $70/lb. Chongqing’s price was $38/lb. Looked like a 3lb lobster but were charged for 3.5lbs. Ginger beef was only slices of ginger and thin sticks of dough deep fried and smothered with honey. Black cod with bean sauce was very slice of fish and a small tail for $40!!! Total bill for 4 dishes a whopping $400 for 3 people. An absolute rip off!

Had chicken peanut chilli as one if our dishes and the peanuts were rancid and tasted bad. Everything else was good apart from that.
