I honestly hate to give anybody a five-star review. Is extremely rare for anyone to deserve a five-star review these days. I had never been to this restaurant before but I guarantee I'll be back. My wife and I stopped in for dinner. From the time we were greeted at the door until the time we left the experience was exceptional. Service was on par with the best anywhere. Food was simply amazing and the presentation was wonderful.

It's refreshing to see a spot in penticton that pays attention to detail with their food and drink menu. The flavors are intense, the vibe is perfect. If you're visiting penticton and looking for "that" place to go, look no further. This place is it!

We were greeted quickly by the cheerful, young staff. The decor is simple and fresh. We started with the Orange and Sage Soda, Espresso Tea Martini and for the non-alcohol Raspberry Rhubarb Fizz. All of the drinks were flavorful, made super pretty and went down easily.
There are many gluten free options. I'm Celiac and was surprised that I could enjoy so many of the dishes.
We demolished the following dishes, for real we were almost licking the plates.
Scallops and Prawns, it's like a creamy ceviche. Got chills with this one.
Sweet and Sticky Ribs, yes my friends these are gluten free and finger licking good.
Ginger Scallion Crab pasta with perfectly cooked gluten free pasta, this was my fav, big chunks of crabs, mmmm
Pea Mochi on a bed of beet puree, they are just the right amount of chewy, smooth delightful softness.
The music helped the vibe with soul and r&b creating a lovely chill afternoon.
We enjoyed every dish and our servers were helpful and knowledgeable.
Thank you for a great afternoon

My partner and I moved to the Okanagan 3 and a half months ago from Winnipeg. We love to go out to eat, but have been disappointed with most every restaurant we've tried, in all different brackets of price. This has been the 1st meal in the region we really truly loved.

All the flavors were bold, but worked well together and were very creative. The service was lovely and they gave us some great recommendations, and the space walks the line between chic and cozy. We live in Kelowna, but I would gladly make the hour drive down to eat here again.

We visited Kin & Folk for dinner and drinks and were incredibly wowed by the experience! The service from all the staff was outstanding, they were friendly, excited to see us and share the stories of the owners the food and the drinks. Very knowledgeable and great timing at the table. They explained the menu and the share plates and all the food was delicious! The ambience was great throughout the night, they moved us to another smaller table as there was a large group that was a bit noisy but they were very accommodating to move us. The music was perfect for volume and didn’t overpower the conversations. They nailed it! I work in tourism and not only will I be back regularly but I will be recommending K&F to everyone! Can’t wait to return!

Kin and Folk is one of penticton's best restaurants. The cocktails are always on point, the food always hits the spot, and the service and atmosphere are respectable. Late night happy hour here is also a good time. Try the fried rice or the chicken katsu sandwich. ?

We came here for happy hour and I have to say, it's probably one of the best I've been to! The prices are great and there's a lot to choose from. We settled for the garlic fries, double beef burger, tofu bao and fried chicken bao. Everything was delicious. To round everything off we had the tiramisu which was amazing. I also highly recommend the house mojito! We had a great server who went out of his way to answer our questions about the area. Highly recommend!

Beautiful restaurant, great service and the food is PHENOMENAL. We had the:
- Pea Mochi
- Ginger Scallion Crab
- Bao Combo (one of each) with the garlic fries
- Burrata
The flavours were all incredible. Would absolutely come here again anytime I’m in town.

Vegetarian options: My partner is vegetarian and had a wide variety of options to choose from. They accommodate a lot of dietary restrictions.

The menu was intriguing and even a little provocative- the epitome of fusion cuisine. We three shared the family bread, red curry ling cod and roasted and toasted salad. We washed it down with a bubbly from Stoneboat winery, ending with tiramiso ( emphasis on the m-i-s-o) and tea. The were ample portions and all were left fully sated!

Excellent fusion restaurant. With an emphasis on shared plates. Lovely and very sophisticated cocktails. We had lunch but it would also be great for dinner.
