A group of us rode there one evening. Had a great meal. Unfortunately I hear it has been sold and will be changing to a Spice Hut come the new year.Always a great place to stop. Food is always great as well as the service.
This is a perfect restaurant if you're looking for great, quick, friendly service on your way thru Port Alberni on your way to a day of adventures. Our server was wonderful and we thank her for her kindness.

It's the end of the Solda's story. After many decades of carrying on the family tradition the restaurants last day was yesterday (Dec 4th, 2022). They have all earned a well deserved retirement. Kudos to the Solda's family for taking care of the Port Alberni community (and guests from all over the world) for so many years with their culinary expertise.
