A bit expensive
And dont forget to bring your own straw (even though it doesn't say it anywere) or you'll be forced to drink the smoothie like a mancave out of a small opening of a milk jug..
Except that it was good

UPDATE:
I see the owner is going over all the reviews of the place and arguing with everyone.

So I want to clarify i don't even remember how much it costed 5 years ago but I remember that I needed to try and eat the smoothie with a regular spoon out of those tiny milk jugs. there were no signs to bring your own straw and the place did not provide reusable metal straws or even paper ones.
When approached correctly it could have been a nicer experience.

Ok I found pictures of the food I ordered from 5 years ago and yes the portions were really small no way for 15$, the pancakes were small and the bowl with the sausage was maybe for a kid meal not even one adult

I love everything on the Menu and in the cooler at YAYU! Everything is so Healthy! They make the best Matcha Lattes I’ve ever had too! 🌱🍵

We visited Yayu's Cafe last weekend. The first day we had the pad thai which was excellent! The second day we had BANH MI. I put this in capital letters because over a week later.......and I'm still thinking about how dang good that sandwich was. Probably the best sandwich I ever had.

Top notch service and food. So hard to find that these days. These guys knock it out if the park. Really enjoyed their mushroom hot chocolate and Pad Thai. Will be back.

Amazing little seaside vegan cafe with the best berry smoothie I’ve ever had. Served in a little milk bottle.
The flavours from the vegan pad Thai were surprisingly authentic.

Indoor Seating is somewhat limited and is mainly outdoor patio and one big bench style table inside. We didn’t have problems sharing with other people because it’s a long table.

Staff were friendly - just a note- at the time of review, smoothie bowls were not available. Will have to revisit !

Lovely little cafe. The staff are fantastic! Please don’t be in a hurry when you go and have a back up order! I went 2x as the first day my choice was sold out! It was well worth the extra visit!
I enjoyed the Mystic smoothie, Jamu, Pad Thai, Mushroom Chocolate, Chai Tea Latte, the Bahn Mi and the carrot cake! I really wanted to try more smoothies and the rainbow rolls! Just not enough time in Ucluelet to do that!

Simply the best vegan cafe in the West! Super flavorful dishes loaded with vegetables, that also happen not to be overpriced, and delicious drinks. We wish we could come here more often!
