I always trust dim sum quality in Vancouver until I visited this place. The food was bad, none of the dish tastes delicious. Can’t believe such restaurant is still open in Vancouver.

The restaurant is outdated inside compared to other high-end Chinese seafood restaurants. The dimsum was good.

Long time business in the Kerrisdale area. Pay parking in the building lots. Or park on the street for free.

A very disappointing dining experience. I ordered abalone and goose feet, but the abalone had absolutely no flavor at all. The braised sea cucumber was just as bad—it seemed like they simply boiled it without any seasoning or proper preparation. Coconut milk bird’s nest was mediocre at best, nothing special. Creamy shrimp balls were also unimpressive. The most shocking part? The chef was even using their phone while cooking, showing zero focus on the food. Overall, a terrible experience with no value for money. Highly NOT recommended! Chef should find a job in McDonald or something ! Nah leave McDonald alone!

How to run a restaurant like this? I pretty recommend the chef to find any other job rather than cook….

Came here with a family of 8. Food is high quality. But you get what you pay for, so be prepared to spend at least $400-$500 if you are coming with a large group.
Dietary restrictions: Have veggie options but not recommend for hardcore vegetarians & vegans
Kid-friendliness: Yes.
Wheelchair accessibility: None. Disappointing but that‘s the only downside to this place

Excellent quality and my go-to for abalone and shark’s fin whenever I’m visiting Vancouver! Service is always attentive and friendly.
Parking: limited free parking options within the underground lot.

I've not been here for a long time and I'm shocked the prices for dim sum is so reasonable. They are in the large basement now but used to be upstairs in a smaller unit and it was a high end restaurant serving quality abalone. Free tea and Victor gave us 10% off on all dim sum dishes. Very good XO sauce for free. Paid $179 by credit card. Very low priced dim sum on the Westside.
Parking: Lots of free parking on Granville St.

Really didn’t want to post a bad review of a restaurant but my experience here the other day was down right hard to take.
This place has been around forever and is suppose to be a high end name brand restaurant but the food and service on this particular night was terrible. There were only 2 captains and a waitress serving the whole Chinese seafood restaurant . This isn’t a cafe! The attitudes of the staff weren’t great but how do you blame them, they are clearly lacking in staff
Their scallops with wagyu beef was interesting, how many restaurants serves their wagyu beef with so much tenderizer that the beef doesn’t have any texture, you almost can’t tell it’s beef
We ordered lobster and it was drenched in a soup like sauce. Let’s put it this way, we had more than 10 people on our table and someone took half the lobster home because no one wanted to eat it.
I’m not going to go on and hope it’s just a one off for them. We certainly aren’t going back. The dinner wasn’t cheap, it was well over $100 per person and hopefully the owners and management need to recognize the need to improve their quality of food and service.

Visited this restaurant for my friend’s birthday and turned out the experience was terrible and very disappointed.
The food and service is subpar, will never go again. Don’t waste your money.
A classic old shop in Vancouver - Ah Yi Abalone Wings, reasonably priced, clay pot crab wings, abalone, almond tea and sesame soup balls, very delicious. It is worth eating again, the staff's service attitude is friendly and kind

I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation for its food. Unfortunately, I found the food to be mediocre (abalone & shark's fin soup). What was truly remarkable, however, was the exceptionally poor customer service. When I requested our waitress to take our order, she responded with "in a bit" and proceeded to unload dishes from the kitchen. We ultimately had to flag down a manager to place our order.
Given my daughter's dietary restrictions, we asked if the sauce for one of the dishes could be served separately. The manager went to check with the kitchen but never returned to confirm or discuss the request. We flagged down a 3rd person to continue/complete our dinner order.
Throughout our meal, the manager who initially took our order never returned to check on us or inquire about our satisfaction with the food. He even avoided making eye contact. Despite this poor experience, I still left a 15% tip, the minimum amount on their POS terminal. After spending $400 on this meal, I am certain that I will not be returning to this establishment.
Dietary restrictions: My daughter has a metabolic disorder that necessitates strict dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, the manager made us feel as though we were being overly demanding when placing our order.
