bussssss
There aren’t a lot of places in Vancouver where you can get a meal for $22 and have trouble finishing it. Try the Lamb curry rice.
Gado Gado was good
Roti Prata was okay
Not a fan of Tofu Puff
Went there to take out food, and brought my glass containers to be used. The cashier and kitchen staff refused to use my clean containers, they insisted that they serve the hit food (and soup) in their plastic containers. I walked away. Be careful if you take out hot food in plastic containers, unless you want to consume plastic chemicals used to make the containers ! “It's …best to avoid putting hot food directly into plastic containers…Heat can cause chemicals in the plastic to leach into the food, potentially contaminating it.”
Singapore/Malay spot. Quite a tight indoor dining area with a lot of to go orders. Fairly cheap dishes. The laksa here was 🔥 Will be back to try other dishes
They have the best Fried Kuey Teow, must try 😍😍😍🤤🤤
The best Singaporean food! I've been eating here for 15+ years. Best dishes are:
- Hainanese chicken rice
- Fried kway teow (not on the main menu board)
- Lamb curry
I've been here two times to relieve my homesickness since I travel more than 10 K KM to get to Vancouver. I decided to try their Gado gado or mixed salad with peanut sauce. The taste was slightly similar to my hometown's Gado - gado. However, they served it in hot peanut sauce which is irritating for me because the original gado gado should have served in room temperature sauce.
Overall was okay 👍
A pretty decent Singaporean restaurant. The place is quite small and usually has a steady stream of customers. It leans toward being affordable and budget-friendly.
You place your order pay in cash or debit card, no credit card, find your seat, they call you for your food when is ready, clear your own table after finish eating, food acceptable good.
Restaurantji Recommends
The woman working the cash is so god damn rude.. it’s honestly quite unbelievable. Food is so basic.. not sure what the hype is about. It’s cheap sure.. maybe that’s why people like it? Flavour is basic, meat is overcooked, no vegetables.. literally any other Malaysian spot will serve you this food with a smile for a couple dollars more!
I had a very negative experience at this restaurant. Upon arriving for dinner, I was rudely informed by the cashier that dine-in service was unavailable will there were other clients seated and that last call was at 7 PM, despite the restaurant still being open. Her demeanor was disrespectful. I cannot recommend this establishment due to the poor service, unclean environment, and lack of restroom facilities. I advise others to avoid it. STAY AWAY!!!
Kway Teow was so good and came in a big portion. The staff were welcoming and friendly but they only accept cash / debit card.
Was excited to discover this place initially. However, it is very cramped inside with the way it’s been laid out.
Staff were decent, but it is food court style, where you order in the front and collect your own food, then have to return your tray (even though the restaurant is so small).
Prices were around $15 for each meal.
Bak chor mee did not taste authentic at all? It was too sweet and the noodles and texture were not right.
Chicken rice did not come with ABC/sweet soya sauce and instead came with a watery chili sauce.
Disappointed :(
Keep in mind, credit card is not accepted here.
Was attended by a very very rude young girl. Spoke very loud. She spoke to me as if I didn't understand English.
Food was so so. No big deal. Kueh teow was supposed to be spicy, it was flat. chicken was rubbery. Grado gado was tasteless.
Definitely will not be going there again.
