Sorry but I ate the monte Cristo sandwich and was stuck on toilet for 2 days ?♀️ not worth the money. (Deli shaved meat ..not real turkey or ham ?♀️) Even my bro who ate the breakfast was disappointed ? again not worth the money . Staff was amazing tho !! Very friendly and on top of things ??

Second time coming here after finally finding a restaurant that has delicious pan-fried potatoes! Service is always great, pleasant lady, fast with coffee refills.We got the Brit and the Tofu Egg Scramble, subbing out a salad this time for a healthier option. Huge and tasty portions, they also have sourdough bread!Overall, I would come back to try other items, the location is easy to find, there's always tables available and parking is very cheap along Main Street. 3 stars because the food is very greasy and the price is a bit higher than other diners.

I went for brunch and the food was really delicious! The additional orange juice I ordered was the worst. Even though I paid about $5 for a glass, it tasted like very dry water, as if it had been diluted by about 80%.

The Basic is just that - great basic diner for breakfast or lunch. Big portions, quickly prepared, and friendly staff. No fancy decor etc, so just an easy going breakfast place for that overdue breakfast with friends.

This is a great diner if you want classic breakfast or lunch. Blueberry pancakes were delicious and hash browns were crispy. Service was excellent. Corned beef sandwich was also very tasty. Highly recommend if you want a nice classic style brunch. Easy street parking some free and some paid meters.
