This was one for the better places in the market. Quick line. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. We went with the pot pie. And a roll. Good stuff.

Authentic English pastries - tried a Cornish pasty and sausage roll, buttery flaky crust with a well seasoned and textured filling. Whole separate display of different salads and pasta salads, as well as a pastry case filled with cookies, cakes, scones etc. Wide variety of food, friendly staff. Very hustling and bustling on the weekend, can be a bit claustrophobicVegetarian options: Vegetarian options for lasagna, shepherd’s pie, samosa pastry roll and pot pie (broccoli and cheddar)

This bakery had a massive collection of baked goods - both savory and sweet! Helpful staff warmed up our pies. Steak and onion pie: Flaky crust, tender beef and onions in a gravy sauce - Not bad!Salmon pot pie: Flaky crust, flaky salmon, soft onions, and tender mushrooms in a creamy sauce. I also had my first ever Nanaimo bar from here! The chocolate and coconut were super sweet.

Ordered the beef and pork sausage roll and it literally tasted like the frozen grocery store version. There was nothing special about it and they charged $5 for it. Would not ever come here again.

Great little bakery inside the public market with a variety of unique goods available. Personally, I love their maple shortbreads!

Great little bakery in the public market that has a variety of goods available, including some interesting lesser known items like a 'scotch pie' and 'tofu chew'. Personally I love their maple leaf shortbreads
The steak and onion pie lookeda lot better than how it tasted. It was without flavour and very disappointing.

While wondering in the market I saw that they had something called a Tofu Chew that looked to be chocolate. We had to try it and I am so glad we did! So delicious! The staff was also very nice and helpful!
