Ordered the Daily curry along the crispy pork belly ! Curry was super delicious and spicy but not overwhelming. The pork belly on the other hand was small portion and (side order) I feel like they could’ve been a bit more generous with that but none the less overall great food. Also when the Costumer service is not so good you know the food will be great

? A Taste of Thailand at Granville: Sen Pad Thai's Delight ?️?? Strolling through Granville Island, curiosity led me to Sen Pad Thai, a gem within the bustling food court and a sibling to the renowned MAENAM. The aroma of authentic Thai cooking was an instant draw. ??? Opting for the CLASSIC SEN PAD THAI with prawns, I was immediately struck by the rich, authentic flavors, although it was notably salty and a touch pricier than expected. Yet, the quality spoke volumes. ??? While the food court setting doesn't lend itself to stylish décor or dedicated service, the focus here is purely on the food – a vibrant testament to Thai culinary traditions. ?️? Despite the saltiness and price tag, the experience was a flavorful adventure worth taking. It's a reminder that great taste often comes with a cost, but the authenticity of each dish shines through. ?? I'm already planning my next visit, eager to explore more of their menu. Sen Pad Thai, with its straightforward charm and bold flavors, is a must-try for enthusiasts of genuine Thai cuisine on Granville Island. ??

I ordered pad Thai with chicken, they put way way too much vinegar in there, I couldn’t even have my eyes open while eating it. Only finished half of it because I paid $23 so I had eat some ?

Delicious Pad Thai, wish it had more meat and peanuts though. Portion was pretty much enough for 2 people and was decently saucy with fresh-tasting ingredients. The only (obvious) downside is the price which is pretty damn high for what you get, especially if you want a can of cold pop to go with it. I know its Granville Market but come on, dang near $30 for a Pad Thai with a small drink is pretty astronomical.

The food was decent, but the overall experience was underwhelming considering the high cost of $22 for what essentially felt like typical food court fare. Waiting for my $19 tofu pad Thai, with an extra $3 for shrimp, was not pleasant amid the constant foot traffic and lack of a proper waiting area. On a Friday afternoon around 3:15 pm, finding indoor seating proved challenging—searching for over 15 minutes, I resorted to sitting on wet benches outside. Even seated outside, a group of annoying teen tourists just so happened to be yelling nearby constantly. This issue seems to be a problem in this food court rather than specific to this one stall. While better seating arrangements could make the experience better, the current crowd control needs significant improvement. For $22, I could go to a nearby sit-down restaurant and order one of their cheaper food options, which, although a different cuisine, would have a more relaxed atmosphere that I think is a better overall experience. Overall, the overcrowded seating situation significantly detracted from the overall visit.

I recently tried the pad thai with pork belly at this place, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The pad thai sauce tasted overly sweet, sour, and gluey, completely overpowering any authentic flavors. The pork belly skin was so hard that it nearly broke my teeth – definitely not what I expected. To make matters worse, the portion was super small, and the $24 price tag was absurd for the quality and portion offered. It's no surprise there was no line up. This was by far the worst pad thai I've ever had. Save your taste buds and seek better options elsewhere.

A whole lotta MSG and horrid customer service. A lady I presume is the owner kept glaring at me and rolling her eyes to a degree that my mum picked up on it too. It’s a shame, i heard great things about this place but in reality its just average thai in a ridiculously small portion for a criminal cost.

A solid spot for Thai in the Granville Food Court. The food comes out hot and fresh. I got the Pad Thai and it was delicious. It comes with tofu and the flavors are yummy. The spice here can be quite hot, so don't go for the highest unless you have a good tolerance for spicy.

I know.. Some North Americans swear by a restaurants pad Thai and it turns out to be so damn average. Not the case here. I shit you not it is mfg'ing tasty. Something about the fish sauce. It's not overwhelming, just perfect. I want to finish this pad Thai but I'm on a schedule.. Aarrgh.

The food is good. Definitely. But the portion was only half of the container full - and for $22 plus tax. It was really pricey for what I got. I may as well have gone to an actual restaurant. I would have gotten service and a bigger portion for that price - if not less. What happened to food court style/takeout prices?I asked if the portion size was normal and she said yes. That they weigh everything. Except, I watched the chef the entire time and he eyeballed everything into a container, cooked it, and then put the portion into two containers. One for me, and one for himself I’m assuming because it was the end of the day before close and no one else had ordered. Whether or not he took my food - or portioned for two, and took more for himself is unknown. But the price being so high and the portion I received was so small. I won’t be getting it again even though I enjoyed it.Unfortunate

Food tasted good and authentic. Came in generous portions too. Menu is typical that of Thai street food and reasonably comprehensive. While the food is tasty. some people may find it a bit on the salty side. Overall we were happy with our experience

I found this Thai gem in the Granville food court! After one bite of the beef pad siew, I was HOOKED. The fresh rice sheet noodles surprised me most; They're translucent with an addicting chewiness, unlike any other pad seiw I've tried. The umami sauce had a surprising kick of heat. Beef and chinese broccoli were well seasoned and tender. We liked the beef pad siew so much that we ordered the same dish again within an hour. The credit card reader rejected my duplicate purchase as an error and refused to process my payment. However, cheerful staff successfully troubleshooted the error! This was a delicious experience that left me full but still wanting more. Compliments to the chef(s)!

Good place to eat if you're visiting Grandville Island. There are many food options, but this one always satisfies. The pork and rice dish is very tasty. It comes crispy or braised. While both are delish, I prefer the braised. Tried the pad see yew this time and it was great! Just enough kick of spice and good flavor in the beef and veggies. The people are nice and do their best to fulfill orders. It can get really busy, but that's true of all the food places here. It's open seating for all so stay alert for any open tables. This place is a go-to when we're here.
