Probably the most overrated breakfast restaurant in Vancouver. The only star - location.

Great looking diner. Horrible service. Waitresses standing around talking to each other rather than paying attention to their tables. Had to ask for coffee, some of the food we ordered didn't come to the table, big long nasty hair in the chicken fingers.Go for the atmosphere but no the service.

ZERO star and the worst meal and experience in Vancouver.Unfriendly staff, I am sure it’s because I am Asian (saw several previous reviews about this as well) 0 services, even water we asked for 3 times.Staffs seemed so busy with talking with white people only.Yes, portion is big but definitely overpriced and ingredients are not fresh at all! Didn’t tip, and they didn’t even ask why….Hope this kind of racist restaurant should shutdown asap, ruining the city’s reputation.PLEASE DONT GO!

Had breakfast here. Seating was comfortable and there was plenty. Decor was cool, oldies dinner style. Food quality was decent and portion size was okay however, the price I found to be very high for a simple eggs Benny. Definitely worth checking out.

If you are looking for quality and delicious brunch or lunch, do not go to this restaurant.Inside the restaurant looks very old diner and maybe that’s the theme but it looked dusty and unsanitary. I guess people go this place for big portions.Server got one order wrong and didn’t realize until I ate the food. Ordered an omelette, burger, apple juice and kid’s French toast. Ended up paying $72.Overall very disappointing experience.

Best restaurant for breakfast or lunch on West side of Vancouver. Large portions for a great price. Super service with a whole lot of nostalgia on the walls.

The quality is not worth the price. Not allowing for a single substitution or change to menu item is also quite annoying. My friend asked to remove one item from her sandwich (the slice of tomato) and was told no. This seems overly picky. For the price, go

Very “just okay” for the money. The poached eggs were overcooked. Poor quality smoked salmon on a 23 dollar Benedict. The waffles were doughy and mushy. Disappointing given the overall rating of the place.Update: My wife and I (we shared the Smoked Salmon Benedict), now have intense stomach aches. And given this was our first meal of the day…

I love Sophia’s Cosme Café. The portion sizes are huge, atmosphere is very retro brings back memories and food just taste so good. You have enough for a couple of meals.Parking: Parking can be a little bit of a challenge depending on what time of day you come. We went during the week so that was a little bit better. On the weekends parking can be challenging.

First time going to Sophie’s cosmic cafe for brunch and it was a great experience! We ordered the eggs and specialty sausage (with chorizo sausage & sourdough bread), eggs rancheros, and a side of breakfast potatoes.Everything was delicious! The breakfast potatoes could have been seasoned more as they were a bit plain. But everything else exceeded my expectations and it was great to see lots of gluten free options on the menu. Our server was also nice and efficient. She frequently walked around and made sure all coffees were topped up.There were also lots of cool vintage items hung up around the diner - a perfect place to play I spy with your kids:)Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options.
