I had read so many positive reviews for their vegetarian food and hence expected the quality & taste to be decent. But was disappointed, the oil tasted thick and foul smelling, the food was stale tasting and not at all fresh. I certainly won’t give them a second try.

Typically, I avoid leaving reviews, but this experience warrants an exception. We waited nearly 45 minutes for our food, which wasn't properly cooked and turned out to be mediocre. The restaurant's cleanliness was subpar, and health code violations are visible on the Coastal Health website.A concerning incident involved a dish served on a hot cast iron plate placed on a wooden tray beneath a fire sprinkler, almost triggering an incident. Overall, I cannot recommend this place due to the mediocre food, poor service, and hygiene concerns.

Normally go to Po Kong but decided to try a new place tonight. Teapot was chipped and frankly a hazard. After 30 minutes a server came up to us and realized we hadn’t gotten our food yet. She quickly ran to the kitchen and shortly after we got our food. (we think they forgot to make it). In the end waited 45 minutes for all of our food to come. We ordered the bean curd skin rolls and the sweet and sour pineapple delight. The bean curd skin rolls were not cooked thoroughly and were raw and soggy in the middle. The sweet and sour pineapple delight was cooked quite unevenly (some pieces were 3x the size of others). Our server did not come and ask how our food was. We had to flag her down for napkins because there was none on the table. As soon as we finished our food we were rushed with the bill that we did not ask for. Our server did not make any effort to talk to us while we paid and instead talked to the table beside us. After we paid she complained about the tip to us. Overall not very impressed with the service or food. If you want a better experience I’d recommend going across the street to Po Kong.

Sweet and sour pineapple dish was really good, chow mein was great, was not a big fan of the black bean dish but it was alright. Overall good food and would definitely eat here again!
