Everything was great. Werewolf drink was so effing delicious!! Never had anything like that before. Wine prices were too high. Room was very noisy. Hard to hear the waiter's description of the plates. Simple room treatment could solve this issue. Would recommend for sure!

We had the tasting menu, and everything was amazing! All the dishes were presented so beautifully and tasted incredible. The ambiance and service are excellent.Wheelchair accessibility: It is on the first floor but there is not much room between and around tables. I recommend calling ahead to confirm wheelchair seating. The staff are amazing, so I'm sure they'd make every effort to make sure you were comfortable.

We came here on the recommendations of friends and I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Everybody on staff was friendly, professional, welcoming, and just plain fun. The food was delicious - we did the tasting menu. There was nothing we didn’t like - and the meal was an experience. Now we just want to come back!

The best option is to go in at least group of 4 and get the “I want it all” - the food portions are generous and the drinks were delicious. Highly recommend trying this place at least once!Went back again for NYE dinner and it did not disappoint. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. And as always, the food was delicious!

Got the six course meal for two, and they were diligent about accommodating my shellfish allergy. Every course was STUNNING. The Pierre Elliot Crudo, Arctic Charley and Root 66 were standout dishes for my partner and I. We also loved all of the cocktails/mocktails that we tried. The service was very warm and friendly. Food portions were also great value for money, didn't leave hungry at all. If you're in Vancouver, the Mackenzie Room is a must-try.

They offer a Ridin Solo for one, Just the Two of Us for two(obvs) and the I Want it All for 4+The food is amazing, seriously. Put your petty 'I don't likes' aside and have some food properly prepared. You can't go wrong with anything Logan pairs your food with...what an absolute treat. Thank you for a wonderful evening Ridin Solo!

Wow. Unique foods, very attentive and professional staff, AMAZING flavours. Fun menu descriptions. Went for Dine In Vancouver menu, and it did not disappoint. Funky cozy atmosphere, small space so make a reservation. Location can be tricky for parking. Drink prices are higher than avg.

Service was very good and attentive. Ambience was rustic and enjoyable.Food was mediocre.First dish was a ‘potatoe tartlet with cream cheese and something similar to caviar’ - tasted like a blob of potatoes from a frozen pack of tater tots.Unfortunately a few of the dishes lacked much depth of flavour and as usual with a tasting menu, spend above and beyond but still leave feeling like you need another meal. The ink bread was amazing, credit where credit is due.Truffle mushroom, could barely taste any truffle. The quail was tender and tasty. The frois grios was decent.Desert was hard, dry and nothing to shout home about with a pear topping.Disappointing after hearing so many positive reviews.

Had the tasting menu for two. The service was nice, and atmosphere was cozy.Unfortunately the food was a big disappointment. Aside from the salad (which was excellent), everything else was totally lacking flavor. In the end I felt sad that we splurged on this place ($250 for two with tax and tip) only to leave so underwhelmed. The pork belly wasn’t rendered properly, so the texture was gummy and chewy. The fish totally lacked salt and flavor of any kind. The dessert was dry and not sweet, save the sauce. The best part of the experience was the beautiful plating of the food and the drinks, for which I’ll give it two stars.I left feeling taken for a ride— distracted by and charged for a “cool factor”, while being served food that tasted of no creativity.

Being so close to such a high calibre restaurant in St Lawrence, it would be easy for The Mackenzie Room to be living in the former’s shadow. That was my worry when I came here for dine out 2024. And after enjoying a delicious meal, I was very happy to find out that is certainly not the case. Each dish was packed full of flavour and technique, I was quite impressed. Three dishes stood out from the rest.“Root 66,” an unassuming showing of parsley root had a puree of sorts that had me licking my plate.“Char Char binks,” a funnily named arctic char dish, was one of the best pieces of fish i’ve ever had. Full of flavour and incredibly tender. Another perfectly balanced dish.“Pear necessities,” my final standout dish was the dessert. An intriguing treat consisting of pear, chocolate, salted caramel, and peppercorn. The Mackenzie Room is not an establishment to be ignored, and I will recommend it as a must try for Vancouver foodies.

Went for the dine out experience and tasted their six course tasting menu. The Chicken of the Sea dish with the sea urchin/ uni parfait topped with hazelnuts was one of the highlights and well enjoyed! For a busy weekend night, their service was amazing and efficient. The dishes were well described upon serving and well cleared on plates after. The ambience was also very lively, having a chill and comfortable vibe.
