One of the only remaining classic pubs left in Vancouver. Whether you’re looking for a night cap or a properly poured Guinness, you’ve found the right place. It’s hard to find staff that care as much as they do here- prompt, correct, and always friendly. Big thanks to the Manager Rob who took great care of me and my friends who chose The Morissey for a reunion. I will be coming back without a doubt!

It’s an outstanding establishment with far beyond outstanding staff! Situated in the cozy south west bosom of beautiful British Columbia along the stimulating strip of Granville street in the voluptuous city of Vancouver lies a gem of gems where romantic ambience meets a soul comforting home made feel is the Morrisey Pub! It’s a must visit always!
The Morrissey is one of my favourite bars in Vancouver. It's one of the few places downtown where people actually mingle and that's welcoming for all (19+) ages, i.e. not just those who just became of drinking age. If you like rock music and a classic, lively, pub atmosphere, this is your spot!

In a city lacking spaces for culture to thrive, The Morrissey stands alone. A true dive bar that doesn't cut corners on service, atmosphere, food, cocktails or community. One of the few great bars left in this city that have stayed true to themselves. Looking for your new neighborhood joint or a sick bar to spend a Saturday night? Look no further than the Mo'.

The Mo is one of the best bars in town. Lighting is dark, music is good and the staff are awesome. Crystal is amazing. And Rob always treats us well. Highly recommended.

Laughable “service” from Rob behind the bar. Change your CO2. All your beer is flat.

Rob was a horrible and rude bartender. Wasted out of his mind, I had to help him use the machine to take my payment lol. Embarrassing establishment.

Editing this because I’m happy to say this is a very caring business. I thought they were going to dismiss our issue and react with anger over a negative review, and I was wrong. It was handled by the owner in such an understanding way, and it really showed integrity. The place is really cool so I’m stoked we can return to enjoy it and be at a place we can trust. Thank you much for listening and problem solving with us, Jordan :D
I came with a group for my friends birthday and they did 5 things: Tell us they can’t split the bill, confuse us by showing us bills from other tables, use THREE different people to charge you, separated each person so no one could possibly pay together and add up their order, and then at the end doubled down and showed us only our table on the screen with added food “unpaid” on our tab. Our friend who paid first had to leave early, so they took advantage telling us she didn’t pay for her drink when she had. When our group all called to split our bill from what we paid, we all noticed we got charged extra. So yea, specially in these tough times, careful so you don’t get scammed. You’d think you’d feel safer from these schemes cause you’re in Canada but sadly no. I can only imagine the gaslighting response I’m going to get from the business.
