The Wicklow is the perfect boater pub, in the classic sense of the word. If you are a Mariner or just at anchor in Vancouver's False Creek for a few nights, this is the best place to go by a shot of chain.

I showed up on New Year's eve to welcome the Irish new year. We had friends of all races in one area of the pub waiting until 4:00 pm to celebrate. Shots of Jamison and champagne all around for everyone to raise their glasses when the time came. We had a nice dinner as well and it was a fun afternoon as well. Then some of us went home to wait for the new year to come to our time zone. I recommend the Wicklow Pub for food and drinks if you find yourself in that area.

We had our staff party here on December 6th. We had a private room upstairs with appetizers and food menu. A special thank you to our server Nikita who was impeccable. She ensured that all our requests were met and she was super consistent and efficient. Also thank you to the chefs who accommodated our last minute requests. Service was 10/10 food 10/10 and atmosphere 10/10! Thank you to all the team that worked so hard to make our night one to remember 😀

I went out with colleagues to this pub where we each paid our bills separately. The waiter added a $5 tip to each bill, explaining that for reserved tables with more than six people, an automatic tip is applied. This meant they collected a total tip of $50-$60 from our group. It could easily be seen as excessive or even questionable.

I went a couple of nights ago and the service and atmosphere was perfect. But I ordered a Chicken tenders and was so dry and overcooked. I know probably was just one time occasion but the staff can put more attention on it.

Nice neighbourhood pub. Good staff and the food is good. Decent selection of beer on tap. A little dark inside on the bottom level but upstairs is bright and patio is awesome. Off sales area as well! Haven’t tried their new menu yet, but definitely enjoy their hot wings .
