TJ’s chicken is the best fire chicken in vancouver ever! it has the most juicy and and flavourful chicken that i have tasted in my life. it’s sandwiches aka burger is the most crispy and tasty one. Their staffs are all very humble and nice! They even let you try all their sauces for free. i hope they won’t go bankruptcy after Covid because they use such high quality ingredients for their food like the fresh oil for frying chickens. i really enjoy the indian flavour sauce with the best pickle ( who will make a good pickle for a burger? TJ’s did!) with the best chicken within. Fries for me is a little be to thick, but it turns out tasty even after it cool down. what amazing chicken store. After i accidentally visit this store, i revisit it for three times and I recommend to many of my friends!

Spicy chicken sandwich combo is amazing, ordered it to eat there and was made completely fresh. Sandwich was made perfectly and the flavour of the chicken was great. The guys working there were super nice as well.

Had not been to this mall in at least 2 years. I came here to the International Village food court to go to India's Flavour. Was in the mood for cheap Indian food. But the place was gone. Wow.This eatery had been here for many years. So I see TJ's Chicken. Thought I would give them a try. I order the 6 pc combo. The chicken is made to order. I even saw the guy coat the chicken in batter. It can take awhile but the wait is worth it. Chicken was hot. Breading is thicker than what I'm used to.Quite a crunchy crisp. Not greasy. Has its own distinct flavour different from those 2 chicken chains. Very Tasty and delicious. Moist inside. Does not weigh heavy in the stomach. Organic chicken perhaps ? Drumsticks were bigger than other chicken places. Combo comes with ample serving of thick cut steak fries which were average. & a small mac & cheese which was good. Reasonably priced & good value. Service is friendly. Who knows, when word gets around about TJ's, foot traffic will increase significantly to this kinda derelict mall. Will try the chicken sandwich next time.

Amazing chicken and amazing customer service.I went there for a light snack and ordered one thigh. Jay, the manager, was super friendly, let me know the difference in spice levels and had a very friendly conversation with him. Now, onto the chicken itself. I’ve tried most well known fried chicken joints in Vancouver (LA Chicken, Juke, Duffins, Downlow, Church’s). In my opinion for traditional fried chicken LA is still on top, but that’s no slight on TJ’s who’s a close second. The chicken here is boneless, super juicy, and very crispy. Amazing value for the price and fried to order, 100% would recommend.

The entire experience started really awkward with the manager/owner scolding an employee right in front of my face. Chicken itself wasn't that great. I'd rather walk 5 more minutes and go to Juke's.

Since I work in the neighbourhood I'm at International Village regularly for lunch. I read a few great review so I though I'd give it a try. Like another reviewer I'm a fan of Churches chicken, which I find to be fresh well made fried chicken with a thin and crispy coating that sticks to the chicken. TJ's is not like that. There is much more of a crunchy batter that separates from the chicken meat easily. The chicken came across as partly cooked before frying rather than cooked from raw. Overall I was disappointed. It might be to some peoples taste but I probably won't be back.

We ordered delivery through Doordash after reading good reviews from GoogleMaps and Yelp. When the food arrived they all looked fine(especially the burger is HUGE), but as we were eating we were not sure about the quality of the meat, especially thighs. My bf and I both love fried chicken so we have had a lot of them so far, yet never seen any chicken in this color. They might be just low quality meat but they were all weirdly dark so I just tossed them all to the garbage.. if you are looking for cheap eats it could be an option?

Lived up to the hype for me. Juicy, tender chicken. Big portions. Thick, crunchy crust. Go for the spicy version. Thick, hand-cut fries cooked to addictive perfection. I combined the fried chicken with the ramen from Torimaru for a truly special meal.

Price and portion are reasonable. Unfortunately, horrible chicken I got on my takeout order. These pieces of chicken they gave me tasted more like TJ's Burnt Chicken. That's just disrespectful to customers and the chicken. I am sure your employee and cook saw those obviously burnt pieces of chicken when they packed them. If not, here's a reminder. Please see attached photos.

Randomly came across this food court gem and ordered their 4 piece thigh combo. The fried chicken I ordered was spicy, flavourful, and boneless; very delicious! Staff gave decent service. I do recommend and will visit again.
