The outside temperature today is -11 Celsius. I asked a staff member how come the entrance door is propped open since it's so cold. He replied that the owner wants it that way which shows lack of care and compassion for people making him/her money. I was a loyal customer and I won't buy from them again. Shame on you cold hearted owner.

A lot of unique European products (pork lard, Polish canned veggy, Italian cereal and so on) and friendly stuff make this place awesome. Just place is small that sometimes couse a little bit discomfort. .

Best place in the west end for putting a charcuterie together.If you ever get the packaged sliced meats at Independent or Safeway on Davie, you can get the same that they prepackage themselves for almost half the price in some cases. They have an interesting selection too. It’s not vast but they have bison/buffalo meats and cheeses and a great selection of frozen sausages (Tango Meats on Denman does too btw).What is vast here though is the selection of Dutch, Polish, Italian, German goods (from other great nations as well, these are the ones I know for sure from my own procurement).One note: ordering at the deli can be slow and occasionally really slow. Just another positive indication towards its European heritage. Oh and check expiry dates; the shelves are packed!
