It was a real good discover and surprise! Every dishes was excellent: oyster, salmon, mussels, pavlova…
And a special « Merci! » for the team who was very kind to my son who was stung by a wasp few minutes before

The hostess Julia was super friendly and sat us at the best table outside. Our server Doug was very attentive and helped us order the BEST tasting Eggs Benedict, which we have ever had (Aura Benny).
Thanks very much.👏👏
We are grateful 🙏

We had breakfast at this place located inside the Inn at Laurei Point, Victoria Island BC. Everything was good.

We were 4 people for lunch and while the location is quite nice, the experience was hurt by an unpleasant waiter and average food. We ordered a bottle of wine and the server poured almost all of it in our 4 glasses. 5 minutes later he shows up again to pour the rest while saying, I will get this out of your way so you have room for another bottle. We just arrived, and never suggested we are ordering another bottle. We explained politely we are not in a rush, but his approach was clearly a sign of what was to come. Our charcuterie board came with more fruit than anything else. A few slices of capicollo was the only charcuterie on the plate. No plates or cutlery to eat it with after 10 minutes, until we decided to ask for it. Steak came overcooked, but at this point our expectations are already quite low. As we were looking into ordering dessert, the same waiter shows up again, this time visibly in a hurry and asks us if we are ok paying the bill right away as his shift is ending. We did so and left without ordering anything else.

Patio and view are beautiful! Service was ok but too pushy. Food was ok but not the best (one steak was very good, the other way overcooked; fries were good; charcuterie board was not that - just one(!) type of meat, 3 cheeses and a bunch of fruit and other things which were ok but the main parts are missing).

No Vegetarian Options available!!
We were in victoria and see the resturant's terrace, our 4 friends were joining us around 1pm a total of 6 persons, my wife wanted to chill have coffee and maybe a cake. The waitress looked like a big boiler repair guy in a scruffy black overral with unwaahed hair, she advised the kitchen was closed until 11.30am we arrived at 10.50am, the fact others were being served breakfast!!! started to alert us to a problem. She asked if we were staying at the hotel i said no, then she preceeded in everyway to discouage us stating if you just here for coffee and cake there are starbucks a few blocks away!!! Well we want a table for us and friends and nobody was driving so we likely have whiskies beer cognacs etc we probably spend $1000. My wife and i presented the experienve to a well dresses filipino receptionist, she listened and suggested no resolution so we left and met our friends at the steamship rest beautiful meal great service, our bill was touch over $1200 with a view of the entire victoria harbour so nice. This experience i passed om to business contracts and associates, all have said they will not stay at the aura for sure.

Nice local beers available and the breakfast was really good. They should buy some spare chairs and swap them with ones that need to be cleaned when the chairs on the patio are hit with bird waste.

It is on the expensive end for the portions you get but this is a large hotel.
Patio is amazing and service is excellent.

Such a great spot for a family meal with a view! The location is amazing—right on the water with beautiful views of the Inner Harbour. The food is fresh, creative, and really tasty, with something for everyone. Staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome. It has a relaxed atmosphere, and the patio is perfect on a nice day. A lovely place to enjoy good food and soak in the Victoria scenery.

Gorgeous place, very tasty food, and all the staff were polite and friendly.
Unfortunately, last night (Thursday) our waitress wasn’t very helpful—twice. The main disappointment was when I ordered a non-alcoholic drink. She said she wasn’t sure what options were available but would ask the bartender.
Later, our meals and other drinks arrived, and we had been eating for a while when I asked her again about the drink. She responded, “I didn’t have the chance to ask the bartender.” It was clear she had simply forgotten, but instead of apologizing, she repeated twice that she didn’t have time.
