Bought one of your baguettes from The Market Garden. We had a fly baked into the bottom of it. And it is 100% part of the bread, cooked into it. So disgusting, makes me sick knowing I’ve already eaten 1/3 of the bread.Dietary restrictions: Not good if you don’t eat flies

Fantastic products, the owners are absolutely superb people, genuine, leading with their hearts. A family that is pivotal in creating a brighter atmosphere within the community. A local treasure ?

I've been popping in periodically over the last few years to purchase treats for work - this is a great little bakery with lovely staff. Their snickerdoodles are the best in the city, IMO, and their ginger cookies are consistently excellent as well. I recently discovered their cheese + onion scone, and will definitely be back for those!

Most things I've bought here have been satisfactory, however it's quite average considering the prices. I used to come here several times a week for a croissant and a cookie, but sometime around 5 years ago the croissant recipe changed and ever since the croissants have been awful, tasteless, rubbery, not much crunch. I come back every once in a while to try it again, but nope, this is one of the worst croissants around. My last visit I opted to get an americano with my order and the moment I walked outside, the lid leaked hot burning coffee all over my hand, and this is also not the first time this has happened to me! So yeah, that's why I'm making this review, you really need to do better. These aren't new problems, and if I pay $10 (after tax and tip) for croissant and coffee, I want a good croissant and a good coffee that doesn't leak all over me like I bought it from a roadside gas station!!

Cheese buns are delicious. The chocolate croissant was okay but it was light on the chocolate.

I recently bought buns made by this bakery and they were fantastic but today I bought a loaf of sprouted grain bread for $5.75 and it was hollow for 3/4 of the loaf. Good luck making a sandwich or even trying to butter it

Owner is very cheap, underpays staff, skimpy on ingredients etc

I love to try and support small businesses. So it felt weird to go into one and get the vibe the staff just don't want me to be there... like I was somehow bothering them...Bought a ham roll, loaf and bread, and pain au chocolat. Was told in a tone that suggested it was my fault (or perhaps my fault for existing), that the bread was only available to thick cut.Guess I had the audacity to ask if the ham roll would be good for lunch tomorrow if I bought it today. Was assured it would be. Turns out it wasn't even good for lunch on the day I bought it. Felt soggy as I was carrying it home so opened it up. Brown lettuce, old-looking tomatoes, grated cheese from a packet, no butter, and whatever was supposed to be on the bottom had seeped into the base saturating it. Looked like it had been put together with the same level of contempt for customers that you might expect after being spoken to by the staff in such a way.Anyhows, guess the pain au chocolat was ok, so I'm not going togive them a hard time about that.

OMG, their croissants are amazing!!! Almond croissant is the best, and price too!!! This place is not well known, but everyone should go there> Quality of baked good 100% better than Crust (where the croissants are very heavy) and better that Fol Epi where the croissants are dry and dare to charge you $8.00.Bond Bond's is my place to go in downtown. Staff are really helpful and friendly. I recommend this place 1,000 times!!!!

I used to shop at BondBonds on occasion when I worked downtown, so I was happy to find their bread at a vendor elsewhere in the city. I bought their bread on Monday and by Wednesday evening more than half the loaf was gone as I needed two slices to equal one slice of bread there were so many holes in it, much less it be able to spread butter or condiments on it being virtually impossible it was so holey. I sent an email to let them know as feedback as perhaps their bread machines aren’t working properly? I don’t know. I mentioned I was disappointed, and wouldn’t be buying it again. Guess it didn’t sit well, as I was told I was welcome to buy my bread full of preservatives, etc. elsewhere. What happened to their great customer service? Someone having an off day? I don’t know. . . but I do know the very rude response I got - even worse than counting on them getting out of bed on the wrong side this morning - was enough to clinch the fact that I definitely will never buy their product again. I, as a senior on a fixed income, cannot afford to buy another bag of air for $5+! Thanks but no thanks. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Lately there has been a delta in services. The prices have significantly increased. You can get similar products elsewhere for less. Last time in there I noticed many of the bread loafs appeared overbaked although what I bought was excellent but again priced is much higher priced now. I hope this is a temporary stage for them as I have always enjoys there stuff.
