Fantastic service. It's possible that I was in France due to some type of magic. Speaking of magic, the desserts are to die for.

Really excellent pastries and tea! It's a lovely place to get a pot of tea for two and a couple of pastries, especially at this time of year to hide out from the rain. Always delicious!

The space was beautiful, the pastries were average. I had higher expectations of better quality treats, the coffee was good. It’s a step above a chain restaurant. But not as good as other locally owned pastry shops.

I walked in here on January 20 and ordered a red velvet cake slice and an eclaire. They were both absolutely delicious! That being said, I need to rave about the pain au chocolat (basically a croissant with chocolate filling for the uninitiated), a Paris breakfast staple, which La Roux also serves. I went to Paris in October 2023 and had pain au chocolat just about every morning. They were always delicious, as they should be if you want to serve food in Paris and do well. I unfortunately have not found that quality returning to Canada - until now! I was prepared to be disappointed biting into a La Roux pain au chocolat, but OMG!, memories of my first morning in Paris came flooding back! Absolutely love this place ? I will be back and encourage fellow Paris travelers to check them out and get their amazing pain au chocolat/croissant fix in!

A patisserie that makes you feel like you travelled to Paris. Aesthetically pleasing and a wide variety of pastries. The bread pudding with the side of custard on the side was amazing and must try. Many items here look very well made; Priced at an average of $6.75. lots of seating for two but maybe 1-2 tables for 4. It's also nice that they have a display that you can look at as you're walking along the street instead of needing to go in.

This bakery values beauty over substance. The atmosphere is quite nice and the presentation of the food is also quite beautiful. However, the taste of the food was kot that good. The lemon pie tasted more like pie dough then lemon, the profiterole dough was undercooked, the creme brûlée has a sugar crust 5x thicker than it should be, the lemon macaron tasted like nothing and the orange macaron tastes like fruit loops. Overall the food was very disappointing!

I ordered a birthday cake from La Roux as my parents enjoyed their anniversary cake from here earlier in the year. I was greeted over the phone by the friendly staff member who took my order. She was able to provide some recommendations. I love the use of macarons and real flowers on the cakes - a very nice touch! The cake was moist and made perfectly. The passionfruit middle balanced out the heavier chocolate ganache exterior. The flavours are well thought of. La Roux is a go-to for our family celebrations!

Beautiful bakery, also I really like what I ordered: the panna cotta, rum ball and mini pastry. They aren't too sweet and very fragrant

I raved to friends and family about La Roux. The croissants always sell out, so I made a point to be there first thing in the morning to pick one up this past Friday. The expectation was that since you sell out every day, you must make fresh ones every night. That didn't seem to be the case, as my ham and cheese croissant had definitely been refrigerated for at least 1 day. It was still delicious, but having had fresh ones in the past, I was really looking forward to that out of body experience I longed for...
