Had a great freshly prepared sub today for lunch! The owner is very friendly, engaging and knowledgeable! Loved hearing about the bread being baked fresh from Rising Star Bakery in Esquimalt! Much better than subway!

Friendly staff. Sub was alright but I expected more. The location is great and while I was passing by and thought id give it a go. It was noon on a weekday and devoid of any customers, which I found odd as the place is almost the size of a small gymnasium. I hear it is a local owner so I hope he can make this thing work. But certainly a few things need improvement.

Montreal Subs provided our company a Christmas lunch. We have staff who have ordered from these guys several times now. We enjoyed several subs and a couple salads. Great Subs and the salads were several steps above what was expected. The young lady who made our order had it ready when we arrived. We would never fail to recommend them for any lunches for staff or meetings let alone just going to the restaurant. Turns out its a local company and we want to make sure we let everyone know about this local gem.
Vegetarian options: We ordered one veg sub and several salads.
Parking: Lots of parking around the store.

The old school, east coast style of sub shop you've been looking for. The guy working there has a Mitch Hedberg sort of sense of humor/demeanor which only adds to the overall experience.
