It's one of the better ones we've tried in the city. Line up is longOrdered matcha milky, taro, coconut, redbean with coconut jelly and tapioca pearl. You're allowed up to 3 flavours. I think they use syrups to make the flavoursThe place is coolIt's in Chinatown, so if you have a car, good luck finding parking. It's always impossible to find parking

0! The atmosphere was terrible! Definitely not family friendly and ran out of black tea! I should have read the signs…do not go there!

It’s a very interesting place for sure. It’s definitely not a conventional bubble tea place for sure. They do use a lot of syrup and I’m not exactly sure what kind of tea is used. For me it’s the cultural piece - I think if they wanted to do bubble tea and feature a Taiwanese theme, they should keep it to that. Instead, this place has a mix of everything from Indian incense to Buddha statues - it felt a bit like cultural appropriation. No Taiwanese person would light incense in the bathroom.. it’s usually for praying haha… otherwise, strictly tea speaking it’s not bad but not the best :)

I could be completely wrong as I am a white woman from Canada, but this does not seem like traditional bubble tea to me. It is VERY syrupy, very sweet, and does not boast your traditional flavours you will see at other BBT shops, such as taro, matcha, brown sugar, and other flavours favoured by the asian demographic. In my opinion, they rely more on the North American palette, of sickeningly sweet, liken to cough syrup, fruit flavours. However, I cannot differentiate any different flavours of fruit, just pure syrupy sugar. A small also ran me $7.00. Would not recommend, unfortunately. :/

Got the regular oolong milk tea. I feel like the vibes and atmosphere is really nice but the boba and drink is kinda mid. If I visit Chinatown I might come again to try another flavour but 3.5-4

How the heck did this get such a high rating.... A very confusing place.. strictly a review on the bubble tea. It's not that great, but maybe good for Victoria? I'm a Vancouver boy so perhaps I'm a bit spoiled with real BBT, but if the locals like it then good on you guys because what you guys are sipping here isn't BBT. Service was good though, friendly peeps.

the drink are great. the interior design is cool. if you don’t care about service, this is the place to go. however, i’ve had multiple interactions with the staff that were unpleasant and gave the impression that they were “boba snobs” if that makes sense. they will judge what you order (“you want THAT one?”) just the other day, my friend and I walked in and no one else was in the store. the staff just looked at us and continued their conversation. no greeting or any acknowledgment of our presence. the snobby vibes in this place bring the atmosphere and overall rating so low.

I got the tropical tornado and taro milk tea. The boba at this place is perfection - uniform, a good size, and they give you enough to last the entire drink. The taro milk tea is delicious and an order you can't go wrong with. The tropical tornado was a little sweet and had more of a laffy taffy banana flavor, if that's your thing. Overall, it was a great stop to get your boba fix.

Amazing bubble tea! every. single. Time. It's always incredible tasting and I bring dates there all the time! The service is incredible and soo friendly, the jokes made there with the bartenders always make my day! The actual venue is a little strange, no seats and an extremely long line but it's worth it in my opinion, also the venue is packed with wall decor fun incense keychains and lip balm that you can buy! It's a very distinct Victoria gem and I recommend it to anyone who comes hereKid-friendliness: Not very kid friendly, adult drink names and phallic keychains as well as jokes in their venue about sexual themes! Be wary if you bring children, they'll find it funnyWheelchair accessibility: Very accessible! No stairs or ramps, enough room to park your chair, big enough door to fit most wheels, only thing I could see wrong is the counters being high?
