Great place right in the village for a light and tasty bite. They have a happy hour that includes some cocktails and wine.

Incredible tapas - impeccably plated cheese boards with all the fixings. The spritzes are delicious with lots of variety. The place fills up quite quick as it's not too big but being at the bar was the perfect spot to saddle up for a tasty happy hour. Definitely will come back when I visit Whistler.

We had a nice time here with a few drinks at happy hour with some great nibbles. The arancini and burrata was just great. The Malbec was nice as well

Incredible fondue and charcuterie board! My girlfriend and I visited tonight and had great service, great wine and great food. The quality of the food was worth the money. Would highly recommend!

Great tasty food, laid back atmosphere on a Sunday evening and friendly service. We had a much better experience than we anticipated, highly recommended amongst the many (more commercial) restaurants Whistler has to offer!

We had a great experience here. They offer heated outdoor seating, with a view of the village stroll. They have an excellent wine selection, and a variety of small and large plate dishes. We had the fondue, which was a wonderful opportunity to play with our food while enjoying a good bottle of wine and people watching.

Great patio with powerful heaters (which my gf appreciated on a chilly afternoon)The food and beverages were great value during Happy Hour. The food specifically was unsurprising but tasteful. I did not enjoy the mussels which smelt + tasted of strong fish.Great spot to people watch!

Great service- our waitress was very informative and attentive but not over the top. Had charcuterie and some of their spritzes. The quality was great

We were quite disappointed with our experience at Basalt. We were excited to have a cocktail before supper. However, once we were sat down, we were not visited by a server, not even to give us water. In fact, a couple who got seated after us not only got greeted before us but also got served before us and received their drinks before us despite having arrived after us. The staff avoided making eye contact with us, which made us feel unwanted. We have never gotten up to leave a restaurant, but the lack of even a greeting at Basalt for the 15min that we were there, coupled with the fact that we got ignored compared to other customers, while the restaurant was empty, was enough to make us leave the restaurant. All in all, quite disappointed with the service we received at this restaurant.

Great food and fabulous wine list with a strong emphasis on local Canadian options. And the service is exceptional, very knowledge and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Great service, nice food and incredible cocktails. Nice relaxed vibe. Pretty expensive - but it is whistler so probably to be expected.
