Hayley C. Served us this evening. Beautiful smile and ready to offer suggestions should you require them. We spend many winters here at Nita Lake and this year has started strong!
Had the truffle fries, buttermilk chicken and pitcher of mojito. Mojito’s we’re good, truffle fries were satisfactory, chicken was way over cooked and tasted burnt. Service was left to be desired, but I suppose Whistler is struggling to retain quality staff these days. Wouldn’t return other than to have drinks. 3 stars solely for the mojitos.
Rachel was the bartender and server, packed bar and she handled it amazingly. Never felt like she wasn’t paying attention to us. The food, wow!!!! We got the gluten free chicken fingers (my husband is GF and never gets to enjoy things like this) and they were incredible! Had the cure salad as well as cheeseburger. All was very very good. Wish we were staying longer so we could come back. Highly recommend this place and the property is stunning
Good atmosphere outside overlooking the lake. Food was alright, it was brought over without cutlery which may have been okay but we definitely still needed some. Happy hour prices for food are pretty good! The drink prices only apply to house wines and draught beer though.
This place has the best potential with an incredible view! Food was good, but service is the worst I’ve witnessed in years. The service is what made me rate this place a 2 star. No smiles, they don’t come to the table to check if all is okay. We had no refill on water. We finished our meals and server never showed up once, but only after we finished. I observed many tables being ignored. Please train the staff and this could be huge saver to the business
Comfortable vibe, good drinks (sangria pitcher great for shares). Food as expected for pub, good call on the burgers, though the ahi Tuna salad (Tuna smelled off) and ceasar salad (wilted lettuce) should be avoided. Also found hair in another salad.Service was very slow when we visited, on a weekday night. From sitting to delivery of food...1 hour 45 mins. I needed to go to the bar to get refills while we waited. Only one visit from the waiter, as we sat. Appreciated the manager took my request to talk, and acknowledged they didn't live up to their standard.
Brunch was really good! Truffle hash was amazing. I forgot to take a photo before cleaning my plate. Also, kids pancakes were some of the best I've had.
⭐️3.5 Stars⭐️Came here for a girls weekend and sat on the beautiful patio looking over Nita Lake. Nice and quiet and cozy atmosphere! The food was a bit pricey but was really tasty nonetheless! ? Our server was okay, but he wasn’t very friendly and didn’t check on us very often at all. Didn’t seem to care about us very much. Other than that we had a nice time together and the location and view was a real treat!
Really wish I could give this place a better rating. The staff were friendly and the food was mostly delicious but it was such a long wait. The kitchen is so crazily understaffed. We came around 2:15, so during their happy hour, and were denied seating because the hostess was trying to not back up the kitchen too much, which should have been a warning sign. She ended up seating us after about 15 minutes, and from the time we ordered, we ended up waiting 40 minutes for our food. We were so close to leaving if it weren’t for the fact that we didn’t like anything else in the immediate area. The food ended up being delicious, except the waiter did not tell us that changing the side of fries to a salad would be a $4 upcharge. That’s pretty ridiculous, and it ended up being not that great - lettuce/dressing was fine but the croutons were a shortbread texture, instead of a crispy crunch. I really enjoyed the mushroom and pear pizza and the tuna salad. We were starving after hiking so the wait for the food (and the price) wasn’t worth it to us, but if you’re in the area for lunch and don’t mind waiting, it is a nice restaurant with a lakeside view.
Great dining experience. The view was spectacular and the vibes beside the fireplaces were immaculate. The food was just as satisfying and the drinks were creative. I would recommend this place to anyone going to Whistler and would love coming back. Great alternative to the fancier, more exclusive restaurant to its left.
We’ve eaten at Cure many times, and service and food generally reasonable. Not this time. It started with the hostess…”About a 15’ wait”. After several groups were seated before us, 30’ later I went to check; 30’ had now morphed into indeterminate. Hostess spoke to her supervisor and we were seated 40’ after arrival (the place was not busy, half full if that). Waiter soon appeared and drink orders taken, which must have been swallowed by a black hole: the 4 drinks didn’t arrive for another 35’. Food ordered at same time as drinks arrived (1 burger, 3 appies; nothing fancy). 40’ later complained about slow food service; other than apologies by manager and comping our drinks…. Nothing! Finally, an hour after we ordered 4 simple dishes, we got our food….and some of it was cold…which meant it had been sitting around despite the waiter and manager knowing we were pissed about the service. Our companions, who have also dined there frequently, were really angry; suffice to say the “service” ruined the evening for 2 couples. Would not recommend dining at Nita Lake Lodge.
I have come here twice now, and both experiences were excellent. It is located in a very convenient area. Both times we ate here, we ordered the Nachos, a dish I highly recommend. Complements to the chef and waiters.
First visit & the view from the deck was incredible. Food was delicious. Our server Tomas was very sweet & polite. Memorized our order too!
An amazing hidden Jewel! We found on our walk (Valley trail). I had recommended the nachos, but my husband recommended salads. The salads are AMAZING!! And so are the roasted olives! Great atmosphere and service. If you get an opportunity TAKE IT. They also have a kids menu. BONUS!
Adem was a wonderful server both nights we had him. He gave us great recommendations on things to do while staying and made our experience 10/10. Next time we will stay in Nita Lodge after such a nice time in the restaurant. Food was amazing, especially the Mac & cheese!
