Very good Japanese restaurant which takes reservations before 6 a.m. We had sashimi, fried chicken, pork gyoza, edamame, miso soup, takoyaki and a sushi roll. Everything was really good! Big favorite for the sashimi which was really incredible, and for the chicken too. Very nice selection of sake and several choices of cocktails too :)

Excellent meal. The yuzu hamachi oshisashimi was incredible, and I loved my curry ramen. And we were obsessed with the gomae! Dear Harajuku, which vegetable did you use to make the gomae this week?

Loved the decor and ambiance of this restaurant, but the food was hit or miss. The sushi was fantastic, but the salmon was disappointingly subpar. Also, be aware that despite being described as ‘tapas-sized,’ the portions are much larger. A mixed experience overall.

Our favourite restaurant in whistler! Every single time we dine here the service is great (esp Lawerence) and the food arrives quickly! Obsessed with the yuzu martini and Brussels sprouts.

Best food in Whistler that isn't $$$$$. Fried chicken, dumplings, pork cutlet and calamari.

The food was served in a very small bowl. The staff actually weren't very nice and there were only 5 tables. Wouldn't recommend if you're

Very good ramen. It was the perfect post full day of skiing meal. The server was extremely friendly. There is also a very cool Japanese market attached to the Izakaya. I would definitely go back next time I am in Whistler.

Absolutely stoked on this place. Sat at the bar and Brit did not steer us wrong on drinks, apps, and meals. Got the whiskey flight, which was a great way to try multiple whiskeys that peaked our interest. We had two apps that were on special, the Chicken Avocado Salad and one other thing I don't remember what it was called, but it had tempura zucchini, avocado and eggplant in a delicious marinade...so good. We also had the Crispy Tuna Roll and the Rock n Roll sushi, both were extremely good and flavorful. We were a little hungry still (or so we thought) and we ordered the Tan Tan Noodles and that was also insanely good...admittedly, we probably didn't need that last dish as we were pretty full midway into it...however we still polished it off because that was also insanely tasty. All around great atmosphere, service, food, decor and vibes. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

We had a super fun time, seated in one of the restaurants “Japanese-style” private dining areas (no shoes is oddly fun in snowy Whistler) and sampled our way thru the menu. Lots of fun classic and not-so-classic Japanese and Korean menu ideas, and indeed they’ve focused the concepts of the small bites very well- and in many ways oversized the portions. Wine list is admittedly small, but also likely not the focus here; we noted and sampled mostly Japanese and Canadian beer and indulged in surprisingly good cocktails as drink options. This is an affordable place in Whistler if you order carefully and a truly delightful service team.

This is a fun sushi spot in Whistler that always has a welcoming energy and lots of food everyone can enjoy. I like coming with my friends who eat meat and seafood while I can enjoy lots of their vegan options. It’s also great for slightly larger groups as they’ve got a couple larger room/tables that are fun for that. I’ve done a few birthday dinners and work dinners there. For what it’s worth, they were also very lovely and nonjudgemental during the pandemic which was rare for a spot in Whistler. I will continue to come back because of this.Vegetarian options: Lots of good options like spicy agadashi tofu, fried Brussels sprouts, kimchi, tofu salad, tempura and many really delicious rolls.Dietary restrictions: They have lots of options for vegan and plant based eating and it’s all very yummy. They are also quite good at accommodating gf which I appreciate.

Do yourself a favor and make the reservation for Harajuku. Walk in is possible, but sometimes comes with a long wait. Large parking lot out front, so easy to drive to or walk from the villages. We had a group of 10, so the family-style dining worked really well. We were seated in a beautiful large booth; shoes off before sliding in. The seating was intimate and we were all able to hear one another, which can be rare for seating a big group. We got a bottle of sake for the table, a few cocktails, and we were ready to eat!! Service was quick and staff were kind. Food was DELICIOUS. Top hits were smoked salmon tartar, tan tan noodles, spicy agedashi tofu. You must visit!!!

Vegan options in Whistler are not plentiful but Hara makes up for that. Good service, good vibes and many amazing plant based options.
