The food was very very good. But honestly the service and the attitude of the team of the waiter and waitress was above and beyond. They were funny, personable and amazing. Such a great dinner for our family. They even made my anti-vegetable kid eat salad and asparagus, it was hilarious.

While the food at Joe Fortes was undeniably delicious, the overall dining experience was marred by aggressive service and unnecessary confrontation regarding the tip. Upon receiving the bill, the waitress insisted that we tip more than the 15% we had already left, even resorting to intimidation tactics and shouting at us. When we requested to speak with the manager, he approached us in a confrontational manner, claiming that a 20% tip was "necessary by law" without providing any explanation. Despite feeling uncomfortable, we ultimately paid an 18% tip to avoid further conflict. Even after settling the bill, the waitress continued to berate us about her service, following us to the entrance and creating a scene.

We had the Seafood tower with a glass of wine 3 consecutive days during happy hours (after ski) after been to other places.Same food quality than their Vancouver location.Grace our server and the maître d’O (sorry not his name) were great hosts.During that period (march ‘23) they have 9 tables and bar stools opened for happy hours.The remaining tables are opened for dinner at 5h. No reservation for happy hours but wasn’t a problem then.Highly recommended.
The food was magnificent as was the service. This is definitely a placed to check out if you're in Whistler. Everyone said it was the best meal they've had in a long time.
The Sablefish dish was one of the best fish entrees I've ever had. I would highly recommend if you like fish. Excellent food, ambiance, and service! Glad we went there. Will go again in the future.

The appetizers were very good, the main courses were unremarkable and they charged for the steak sauce which put me off. The dessert was gummy and sticky when it was supposed to be crunchy and light. Service was good although after we expressed our disappointment in the dessert, we were still charged. All in all, it fell short of expectations.

The vibe at this place pulls our vibe down. Perhaps it’s the way their servers behave! They’re so cold man.. Not certain if it good to carry such vibes at the bar.. We can literally make out from their faces that they didn’t wanna come to work! Perhaps, I’d never visit again!

Absolutely incredible food! Everything we had, including the mussels, lobster, seafood pasta, and lamb, were absolutely delicious. And the desserts were heavenly! Highly, highly recommended.
