I thought I would share our latest experience at our favourite Whistler Restaurant. Quattro.
As usual the food was excellent. The Sommelier Jamie Cornwell was a delight from the moment he welcomed us and treated us unbelievably well. The unique wine recommendation was fantastic and added an extra element of adventure and charm to our special night out. Our experience, the food and the wine pairing was excellent.

Great service and good! We come back here every year because they’re that good!
I personally tried the tomahawk and it’s probably one of the best prepared steaks I’ve had!! Take note, portion is huge for the tomahawk!

We were fortunate to attend at the start of December when the Fall menu special was available - 4 courses for $40. This pricing helped offset the poor service. We were often left waiting for long periods of time. A veteran server spilled ice cubes into the lap of one of our party and chuckled instead of apologizing. Really disappointing. At regular (exhorbitant) pricing, this would be one star.

As a local in Whistler, I’m always looking for great spots to recommend to clients, and this place won’t disappoint. The wine knowledge here is exceptional – you can always count on a thoughtful, approachable selection and expert guidance to find the perfect bottle. Their cocktail menu has really stepped up as well, with inventive drinks that add a new layer of enjoyment to the experience. It's truly a Whistler staple, offering consistently great service and an inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a longtime local or visiting for the first time, this spot is worth checking out.

Very average Italian restaurant. I am not sure how this place has an average of 4.5 stars. The food is very average (some below average) and not that tasty for the amount of money they charge you. You can make better Italian food at home
We asked them if their pasta is made fresh and they said no, for those prices you would think they would be making their own pasta. You can definitely also taste that it is not fresh pasta. The lobster ravioli also tasted pre-made and frozen.
Service was so so. Server just assumed my wife was underage and took away her wine glass without even asking. Had to complain to have them bring her a new glass.
Sign outside the restaurant was advertising some “4 for $40” deal but when we asked inside they conveniently used the excuse that it was the long weekend and they don’t offer it that night. Felt like false advertising.
They also charged my credit card twice and then had to refund me.
Overall very overpriced and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are better options in the village. Do not be fooled by the 4.5 star rating this place has.

We ate dinner here two nights ago. We ordered the bread and Lake Pinot Noir - both were very good. Nothing else was that special. We ordered two pastas and the Cornish Hen. We chose the Rigatoni with Short Rib and the Pasta Bolognese. Both lacked any sauce and were very dry. We wish we had ordered the Spaghetti Quattro as some tables nearby ordered it and seam to love it! The atmosphere is nice but loud, and the service was excellent. We just wish the food had been better!

The hostess and the manager were really rude, we made a reservation since a week before and got a really bad table, they had plenty of good tables but they just sat us aside to everyone in a room alone just because we had a 14 year old and it was her birthday. The food was good though
Kid-friendliness: They sat us in a table aside from everyone else in a room alone just because we came with a 14 year old even though we had a reservation since a week ago for her birthday

After finishing the meal, I regretted not going to the French restaurant next door or the nearby Spanish tapas. This restaurant has very high reviews, but it actually tastes good. The service is extremely slow. You can wait 20 minutes for one dish.
calamari - The cuttlefish is quite tender and tastes good with tomato sauce
Veal chop with bone marrow - We wanted this special dish to be medium rare. It tastes medium rare, so it tastes a bit old. But the chef was very creative and put pickle and cream on the bone marrow, which magically neutralized the taste.
spaghetti quattro - quite delicious but not amazing, the softness is just right
For dessert, I ordered a half-frozen, half-sauce chocolate spread and hazelnut spread, which was quite delicious. What stood out was that the slight acidity of the orange jelly neutralized the sweetness of the dessert, and the nuts and honeycomb brittle added to the taste. The quality is just enough for two people to eat one portion, otherwise it’s still too sweet.

Felt lucky to get a seat at the bar on the long weekend during the fall tasting menu. The food and staff were great. The only disappointment was my appetizer I opted out of the additional charge for nitrate and the dish was so sad without it 😅. Such a busy night I was great to watch the bartender whip up drinks

Wide ranging menu. They were excellent at accommodating some dietary restrictions and the substitutions were terrific. Service was friendly and our meals arrived reasonably quick despite being a busy night. The room was a little bit loud but that is expected on a popular night. Very good experience.

Excellent and professional service, drinks at the bar prior be taken to our table. I recommend the Truffle pasta and sous vide cooked calamari! Absolutely delicious!
Extensive wine list, limoncello, and good expresso coffees. Warm atmosphere and comfortable seating. Looking forward to going back sometime to try out the rest of the menu!

Dined here tonight and we were pretty disappointed. The food was very underwhelming. There was a large party that was SO loud we couldn’t even hear each other speak. We couldn’t wait to get out of there. Our waiter was very sweet and attentive most of the time, disappeared at end of our meal and took forever to give us the bill. The pasta, although seemed very fresh, the flavors were lacking. There are much better options in the area. Would not return.
